More MSNBC Awesomeness: Obama Gets Pimp-Slapped by Rachel Maddow

Between this and the Olbermann rant, MSNBC is clearly signaling a new programming strategy, to challenge Fox News as the No. 1 cable destination for Obama-haters.

UPDATE: Welcome (again) Instapundit readers! I feel like Ted Williams on a hitting streak or something.

Obama haters? Hardly. It’s America-lovers. MSNBC has no chance of or interest in capturing that audience.

I have to admit, the upending of Gandhi’s tiresome quote is just downright scrumptious.

The best part is the one she neglects to make…that Gandhi’s quote has an excellent living example in Sarah Palin…thanks in no small part to bile spewers like rm herself

Pimp-slapped”? Oh, wait…….HAW! I get it! Good one, Stacy!

“The unemployed are the job creators.”

    It’s a shame that stupid isn’t a painful disease.

  • M. Thompson

Hrmph. This looks more like a civil war between the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks.

If this goes on, you’ll just be left with the hard-core dems, and the fools in 2012.

  • Jerrylshaw

This Maddow guy has a point.

  • Gina Marie

Maddow is typical of the left — their hallmark is self-delusion. She left out one tiny, in consequential detail between the Obama who signed Health Care into law and the one who is willing to compromise on tax cuts: an election. It doesn’t fit the narrative, it is something the left doesn’t want to dwell on, and so it is ignored. That’s the real fate of the Obama presidency — he’s irrelevant.

Rule 4 crazy like a fox. Stacy has ANOTHER Instalanche for this post.

  • JeffS

Sounds like a feature, and not a bug.

    Hey, it’s a growing market…

  • Insufficiently Sensitive

Gee, she left out the part where the MSM did a six-year negative campaign against GW Bush, so that the bamboozled public would vote for his farthest opposite, the BHO. Turns out it’s a mistake to vote based on hate, and it can now be seen to work both ways. Perhaps Ms. Maddow would like to report the news, instead of corrosive commentary.

  • joebobe

That Roger Maddow sure is on top of things.

[Insufficiently Sensitive] “Perhaps Ms. Maddow would like to report the news, instead of corrosive commentary. ”

That’s MR. Maddow to you, buddy…

  • firefirefire

it’s not the presidency thats being ignored Rachel..it’s Barry Obamas leadership that’s being laughed at and now ignored.
Hillary was the way you libs shoulda went.
but you didn’t,now the incompetence of your guy is out in the open for all to see.
Don’t go away angry Rache,,,just go away. the adults are about to re-enter the room. go back to the sidelines where you do what you do best; complain.

  • Nate Whilk

The ignore/laugh started BEFORE Obama was elected. Remember when he said, “I’ll meet with Iran without preconditions”? Their answer was, “WE have preconditions.” Iran 1, Barry 0.

And after he was elected, remember how he was snubbed at that one Copenhagen meeting?

She seems to have forgotten about those incidents.

  • M. Thompson

I was merely making a pointed observation. And don’t take the analogy too far.

For the crowd marked to here, it’s a feature.

Look, man, I love you and all that hippie crap, but I already listened to a minute and 40 seconds of Olby’s rant for you, and I swear it was the worst six hours of torture I ever spent, so I’m copping out on K.D. Lang or whoever she is.

Well, they are job creators, just not THE job creators. Everyone is a job creator, in the sense that spending money allows others to be employed to provide us that service or product. The problem Maddow’s studiously avoiding is related to the maxim “I never got a job from a poor person”. Economic activity of a number of poor people enable a job. But the rich, they directly EMPLOY folks, usually more than one. So if we have MORE rich people, more people will have jobs.

It seems to me that MSNBC, and the rest of the liberal media, are turning on Obama now because they’ve finally come to realize how out of touch with the rest of America they all are. They’re trying to save themselves, without giving the perception that that’s what they’re doing. What a bunch of sleazy weasels.

On the comment “if we have more rich people, more people will have jobs.” i can’t say that is true. because alot of rich people out here don’t give a rats ass about the poor people or the people that does not have a job. and olbermann said, “should we give the money to the rich who will keep it, or the not rich (poor) who will spend it.” basically he is saying that poor people doesn’t know how to invest or they are just materialistic and will spend it on any and everything. these political people need to get they priorities straight.
