Glad someone said that on record. The Tea Party should be ashamed of this farce called Michelle Bachmann.

  • Joe

Out on the farm, young Miss Bachmann might have seen how they castrate young bull calves. They put a rubber band around their nooksacks and eventually they shrivel up and fall off.

Which is what happend to Chris Matthews and gg.

  • Anonymous

I don’t think gg was born with testes.

  • Anonymous

How much longer before Matthews get’s the axe?

Comcast wants a profitable division here, and they sure as hell won’t get one with a network that is exclusively frothing Leftard.

  • http://youhavetobethistalltogoonthisride.blogspot.com/ keyboard jockey

O/T but related is there going to be a blog for Palin Month in February?

  • gg

They just need to try harder to get a fraction of that “exclusively frothing ‘tard” thing going given the success of Fox News in that regard. But i doubt there is an audiecne pool large enough in the lefty base that is as retard and nutty as that on the right for this work.

But nice try Chris Matthews. Lets just hope your employers won’t make you miss Keith Olbermann too much.

  • gg

Randy_Rager is born without a brain. He can’t ‘think’.

  • Anonymous

Quote marks might be applicable around the word “think” when applied to you, little gg, but the rest of us actually engage in the practice.

Just because Fox News is actually Fair and Balanced, exactly as advertised, is no reason for you to go hating on them, you hate filled hater you.

My Lord, am I sorry I watched that. Matthews, using “Balloonhead” as a pejorative is insanely tasteless. Hydrocephalic people are tragic not a thing of fun.

I am not going to talk about historically illiterate he was. Does he even *know* who John Quincy Adams was?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=615281575 Bill Hedrick

It should also be noted that you used quotes properly, using ” rather than the single quote mark ‘ which gg used improperly. Generally it invalidates a person when they mock someone’s intelligence and fails grammatically

  • http://www.redstateeclectic.typepad.com AngelaTC

Yeah, but I hope they’re not trending to the middle just to help get Obama elected again. I will say that putting O’Donnell in Olbermann’s slot doesn’t seem to indicate that though.

  • gg

    @ Bill Hedrick

“To avoid the potential for confusion between ironic quotes and direct quotations, some style guides specify single quotation marks for this usage, and double quotation marks for verbatim speech” [from wikipedia]

Apparently not everyone has to follow ‘your’ rules of “grammar” strictly for it to be deemed grammatically correct.

Btw my use of single quote was more to highlight the philosphical nature of the world “think”, in which case it is perfectly justified whatever the styleguide is.

Moreover, the fact that Randy has the ability to use better grammar than me is immaterial to the insult, ‘he can’t think…’, which is way broader in implication.

  • Anonymous

Good grammar is the mark of an organized and disciplined mind, one capable of logic and reason.

gg is allowed to post here so that we can see the opposite principles in action.

  • Serfer1962

Lets see…he allowed the opposition 5 times unlimited rebuttal and then sputterred into that rebuttal.
When, oh why does an conservative go on these shows?
Why of why is gg allowed anything but dull crayons!

OK RSM knuckleheads (or numbnuts, in the case of ‘Joe’ and Ragin’ Randy), since you’re raging against Matthews for calling Bachman a “balloonhead,” go ahead and ‘splain how this isn’t a statement who is unhinged from reality (or at least any reasonable sense of history):

“the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States.”

I’ve got the popcorn on and am waiting for the show.

You would be right if English was my first language.
You fail againand not anticipate a larger point.

I also suspect you wouldn’t speak any other language given your demonstrated lack of intellectual curiosity and an inability to ‘think’ in most circumstances.

  • gg

    FAIR AND BALANCED….

    Here’s an example:

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0111/Dept_of_water_carrying.html?showall

The accompanying photographs were heavily altered, although the audience was probably none the wiser. Mr. Reddicliffe looked like the wicked witch after a hard night of drinking, but it was the photo of Mr. Steinberg that stopped traffic when it appeared on the Web at Media Matters side by side with his actual photo. In a technique familiar to students of vintage German propaganda, his ears were pulled out, his teeth splayed apart, his forehead lowered and his nose was widened and enlarged in a way that made him look more like Fagin than the guy I work with.

    FAIR AND BALANCED indeed.

It can’t be any other way.

I pity their audience who REALLY REALLY think it is so.

  • gg

btw what’s up with the Grizzly Mama? No reactions to SOTU on twitter or facebook yet? Is something cooking in Palin household? I hear rumours…

  • http://thepagantemple.blogspot.com/ ThePaganTemple

I can understand why Matthews would go off on that, that was a pretty dumb thing to say. I don’t think she actually meant it the way it came out, but there it is. She said it, she owns it.

  • http://thepagantemple.blogspot.com/ ThePaganTemple

Yeah, I’ve heard rumors also, to the effect that she actually has a life beyond Twitter and Facebook.

  • gg

And that life might come crumbling down, no worries if she’s hit by a scandal or has a meltdown, we still have Crazy Bachmann as a fine substitute to kick around.

  • kansas

Why is that you misogynistic pig?

  • kansas

That’s voices in your head you are hearing. Take your medicine.

  • Adobe_Walls

He needs the other people in there to keep him company (see Lord of the Rings). The last time he went off his meds the madness escalated rapidly.

  • JeffS

I suppose Tingles wanted to say “poopyhead”, but was constrained by network policies for civility.

  • Anonymous

gg, the number of languages you know is utterly irrelevant to how well you’re doing with the one you’re currently using.

You suck at English, among many other things.

  • Anonymous

Heheheh. Half the fight is knowing which weapon to pick, and pointing out that study after study after study shows Fox to be far more fair and balanced than any other news network is the one sure way to give a Leftard apoplexy.

  • Anonymous

Several of the Founding Fathers did exactly that. That she didn’t realize most of them died before 1865 isn’t exactly to her credit, but she was right about the essentials of the matter.

  • Anonymous

It really hurts that she’s so much better looking, successful and smarter than you’ll ever be, doesn’t it?

  • http://thepagantemple.blogspot.com/ ThePaganTemple

    You asked for it-

    http://www.facebook.com/#!/notes/sarah-palin/obamas-message-to-america-the-era-of-big-government-is-back-now-help-me-pay-for-/494999858434

I haven’t read it all yet, but she sure nailed Obama’s ignorant speech.

It’s called Winning The Future, but the initials of the title says it all-

    WTF?

  • MD ConStrat

Puzzle me this, Ragin’ R: Exactly which of the “founders” made it to 1865? Your suggestion that “most of them died” before ’65 implies that some lived that long.

Much more to the point: Bachmann discusses the “founders” as a group. Well, as a group they agreed to a document that incorporated slavery as an accepted institution. Certainly, some of the founders not only opposed slavery but also worked against it after the Constitution was adopted. However, most did nothing of the sort. They either stuck their heads in the sand or actively supported slavery.

So tell me, then, exactly which “essentials of the matter” are you thinking of?

  • Anonymous

Ok, point to you for noting (correctly, something I never thought I’d see from you, color me surprised) that none of the Founding Fathers lived until 1865.

    That said.

Don’t you dare lecture anyone on “reasonable sense of history” when that is your take on the groundwork laid by the Founding Fathers to abolish the practice of slavery.

    You ignorant slut.

  • Backatcha

For Randy_Rager: I’m sorta curious about “the groundwork laid by the Founding Fathers to abolish the practice of slavery.” What do you mean, here? Seems to me that they completely failed to establish an effective mechanism to abolish slavery. Rather, it took an incredibly bloody four-year to do so. Not exactly an orderly constitutional solution.

So why are you getting so bent out of shape when someone points that out?
