Which is to say, a new cable show for Keith Olbermann:

Keith Olbermann’s new show on Al Gore’s Current TV will have the same name as his old one on MSNBC — Countdown With Keith Olbermann. It will also air in Olbermann’s old 8 PM slot beginning June 20, 2011. Olbermann abruptly left MSNBC in January and joined Current in February as Chief News Officer and producer and anchor of a primetime show. “Countdown With Keith Olbermann will showcase the return to television of one of America’s most gifted thinkers and communicators,” said Joel Hyatt, co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Current.

    It’s absolutely hilarious that Keith’s making all these pronouncements from in front of the northeast corner window of his apartment (apparently Current TV doesn’t have enough spare cash to rent Olby even a few minutes of video time at one of the hundreds of production houses in the city).

    Sadly, my Comcast service does. Sometimes I make the mistake of pushing the number for Ovation wrong and I end up on CTV – not pretty.

    By the way, wouldn’t it make more sense, in terms of accuracy, to put an ‘S’ before the CTV?

    I had Comcast for cable last year and they had CurrentTV in their line up as well.. At least it fell in the line up in the upper channels where you needed the digital box in order to receive it..
