    No, no, no ! ! ! It is Revocery BUMMER II. I do not think that there is much hope for the Dear Leader. Even with Soros money! But it will all depend on which candidate the Republicans choose. Very important to get it right this time!

    Obama’s main plan is to force Republicans to vote against a debt ceiling increase, then blame the GOP and the EU debt crisis in Greece (and by next year, Spain and Portugal, too).  It can’t work unless the GOP nominates a candidate he can successfully demonize.

    If the election is about Obama and his policies, he loses – and he knows it.  It’s really almost too late to hope for an economic miracle.  If recovery isn’t robust and evident by next Memorial Day, if unemployment isn’t dropping sharply, the lag in perception dooms him (think GHWB in 1992).  And it would take a miracle for it to be so anyway, because everything Obama has done has interfered with a robust recovery.
