Ali Akbar Says, ‘World War Three’

Posted on | June 5, 2012 | 70 Comments

Ali Akbar with Tea Party candidate Doug Hoffman, October 2009

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Monday afternoon I was off the grid when Ali Akbar called to tell me that “Breitbart Unmasked” had published a photo and the address of his mother’s home in Texas in a viciously mendacious attack on the National Bloggers Club. While I had no Web access at the time, I was able to send a Tweet from my cell phone, and pardonnez mon français.

Does the phrase “Don’t mess with Texas” ring a bell? Maryland courts have been incredibly lenient with the Kimberlin/Rauhauser axis, but Ali assures me that Texas won’t take too kindly to the purposeful harassment of one of its law-abiding citizens. Ali’s mother has harmed no one, and whoever thought up this sick stunt might find themselves prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law — Texas law. IYKWIMAITYD.

As to the absurd delusions propagated by “Breitbart Unmasked” that the National Bloggers Club is rolling in mega-bucks from Republican fat cats — it’s simply not true.

The truth, to the best of my knowledge, is this: Melissa Clouthier began working last year to organize the National Bloggers Club. If conservative bloggers were Cub Scouts, Melissa would be our den mother. And she also has also played a key role in helping Ali in put on the annual “Blog Bash” at CPAC. This year’s Blog Bash was such a monster success in terms of sponsorships that they finished with a couple thousand bucks surplus, and it was agreed that this money would be used to fund the start of the National Bloggers Club.

So any disinformation you hear about the National Bloggers Club being lavishly funded by secretive Republican gazillionaires is bunk.

The Kimberlin/Rauhauser axis are experts at disinformation, and another lie they’ve told is that the National Bloggers Club is shoveling big money to Aaron Walker and others, myself included. It’s simply not true. The National Bloggers Club is trying to help Aaron, especially in terms of providing him with legal assistance in his court fight against Brett Kimberlin, but nobody’s getting rich off this and, as for me, I haven’t asked for a cent from the Club yet.

Nobody’s sued me and I haven’t sued anybody. Our readers here have been extraordinarily generous in hitting the tip jar to help with the extraordinary expenses, and I’m doing OK so far. But nobody knows what will happen next in this rapidly escalating online war, so it’s nice to know that the Club is available to help — and, we must hope, their ability to support and defend conservative bloggers in situations like this will prove valuable in the future.

The point is that the “Breitbart Unmasked” attack on Ali is as misguided as it is dishonest, and if Brett Kimberlin or Neal Rauhauser or any of their evil trolls think Ali is going to be intimidated by their vicious games, they’ve got another think coming.

What kind of liar is Brett Kimberlin? Check out Patterico’s post about the lies Kimberlin told to get Aaron Walker arrested.

Expect blogging to be light here today, as the Undisclosed Location will be re-locating temporarily while I conduct some important and highly relevant business.

One other note: Sources inform me that Aaron Walker filed Monday for an appeal of Judge Vaughey’s ruling in last week’s Maryland hearing. No word yet on when the appeal will be heard.

Please give generously to the National Bloggers Club, and also remember Ali and his family in your prayers.

Well Kimberlin is a scrawny little SOB and Rauhauser looks to be a beanpole looking f#@k so I can see how they would have to “sucker punch” their enemies instead of going face to face, mano y mano.  They don’t have any cojones. Reckon they do the penis tuck like drag queens when ever they SWAT someone or bring up a frivolous  law suit.

I read where Neal has two bench warrants out for him in Iowa and some other state.  Anything interesting in those items?  Any leverage to be used?  Neal wrote about  his ex-family is in Nebraska.  He’s a deadbeat dad. Owes some major child support. Her family sounded fairly well off.   Neal bragged of some little domestic violence he used on her.  Not a good guy.  Any leverage to be had there?

Rauhauser plus the Democrat Party.  OWS plus moveon.org plus Zeese plus Obama plus Pelosi plus Warren.   This isn’t about some freaks who are going around threatening some guys on the internet.  This is the power of the state being brought to bear on their political opponents.

That’s a  conservative blog.  Pointing out Rauhauser at least a part of the Rush boycott astroturfing.  Moveon.org was, too.  All mobbed up with Democrats.  This is, as Joe Biden might say, a big effing deal.  I think Stacy is missing the big picture – this story isn’t about Brett Kimberlin, it is about the power of the state backing political terrorists.

They act with impunity because they have impunity.

And that auld triangle went jingle-bloody-jangle

All along the banks of the Royal Canal

Here’s hoping Kimberlin gets to sit in a cell and think about that song for a few decades.

So have we figured out by now that our enemies — let’s not mince words, these people want bad things for us and our country — are not playing with games and gestures and symbols anymore?

We need to  make material preparations for the very real and the very bad that is coming our way between now and November, and not just in dealing with our personal harassments.

For example, Obie can’t be happy that his “test” emergency broadcast takeover of the internet was a dismal flop.   This Administration may or may not try that again.  But does anyone seriously doubt that if Obama told Facebook or Twitter to shut down for a week or two weeks prior to the election, they would do it?  Does anyone seriously doubt Google wouldn’t somehow lose the links to conservative bloggers and even the GOP, based on their past history of selective editing and artistic algorithms?

We need to start setting up discreet alternate lines of communication, both online and off.  Someone has to set up private bulletin boards, for online communications if FB and Twitter go dark; someone has to make a phone list, a texting list, in case Obama actually can and does shut down the US internet.

And we need to start doing this now.

You know why they keep making those accusations?

Because that’s how they operate. Kimberlin, the anti-gunners — all get wads of cash from the organized left, so they can make as much noise as possible to make the left seem bigger than it really is. None of them would bother with their “activism” if they didn’t get buttloads of cash from it, so they assume that’s how the right works as well.

    Screwing with Ali Akbar . . ….

Not one to be trifled with. . . . is a bad idea in and of itself. Screwing with his family is a whole different kind of bad idea, and I don’t think things are going to work out well for the people who did this: Monday afternoon I was off the grid…

The thing to remember is that this is not about me or my family, it is about thuggery and intimidation to silence free speech.
My second point: I am not important in this situation. I stole their thunder so I now am a zero, without value. Circle the wagons around those that make a difference. I am old and disposable. Ali, Stacy, Liberty Chick, Aaron, Patrick, all of them are young and important players in this effort. Circle the wagons on them. Contribute to the National Bloggers Club fund started for this purpose. Blog about them, their efforts regarding the publishing of factual information about a public figure. This is where the forward edge of the battlefield exists, not in a backwater in Florida with a broken old man.
Move forward, defeat the foe, those that would silence each and everyone of us. Rally to the commanders listed above and give them your support.

Thanks Mare, I love you too! But that is the reality, the raw truth. I am a foot soldier in this fight, not a great commander. I do my bit and soldier on. Those who have the reins shape the battle and the battlefield and are NOT disposable, we need them to shape what our political landscape will be like for the next 50 years, long after my ashes have blown away in the wind …
