Freedom Is Under Attack: Help the National Bloggers Club Fight Back

Posted on | July 3, 2012 | 24 Comments

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Several Twitter accounts associated with the Brett Kimberlin/Neal Rauhauser axis unleashed a torrent of attacks yesterday against Ali Akbar and the National Bloggers Club. Exactly what prompted those attacks, I’m not sure, but the National Bloggers Club has given important support to Aaron Walker in his defense against Kimberlin’s “lawfare” harassment and now — a little birdie tells me — the Club is preparing to counterattack.

At the end of a post yesterday, I gave you a tiny hint of what’s coming, and will soon be able to tell you more.

For now, I urge you to contribute to the National Bloggers Club: $10, $20, $50 — whatever you can give, it’s for a good cause.

Tomorrow is Independence Day. Fight for your freedom.

UPDATE: Brandon Darby Defamed by Kimberlin Associate Neal Rauhauser; Pursues ‘All Legal Remedies’ Against SWATting Charge.

Sorry, Stacy, I’m not giving to Ali. I’ll give directly to Aaron’s lawyer’s fund, or your fund, as I have recently. I don’t think Ali should be attacked, but we need new leadership at the top of the NBC: ‘Bloggers Against #BrettKimberlin Fracture Over Ali Akbar and the National Bloggers Club’.

The attacks are designed by the Brett Kimberlin Crime Family to distract from the fact that Brett Kimberlin got exposed again in his testimony.  Kimberlin has produced a torrent of perjury in his attacks on Aaron and I suspect that Brett Kimberlin realizes his exposure has increased.

I’m beginning to wonder if Kimberlin wants to be returned to prison.

I agree. The 501(c)3 designation apparent screw-up has me not trusting National Bloggers Club financially at the moment. They are on the right side of this issue, but I’d rather donate directly to Aaron’s lawyer’s fund.

Donald: You go into battle with the army you have. The battle has been underway for more than six weeks. Personal criticisms against Ali have been aired widely, but do not detract from the valuable work that the National Bloggers Club has done, and will continue to do, to win this battle. There is a lot of backstory, of which you almost certainly are not aware, and I do not have time or inclination now to explain everything. However, you have my personal assurance that contributions to the National Bloggers Club are crucial to the effort now under way, and will be carefully utilized for that purpose.

I trust you, Robert. But at some point I’m going to need that backstory.

Your fears about ali akbar are well grounded.

You really are a peice of work. I read your little screed. Typical – you’re all about forgiveness and moving on, as long as they don’t disagrree with you politically. You’re not abouve a little gay-baiting either as long as it serves the cause. Any means necessary, right?

Stacy doesn’t do comment moderation, I do. Screencap away, and go poop on somebody’s else’s carpet.

I believe I have detected some things going on with twitter over the past week or so that could have been tests of some sort of automated twitter activity.  The nature of the activity made me suspicious that this could be used for nefarious purposes.

What I would suggest people do, and this is going to be difficult if you have a lot of followers, is go through the list of people following you and BLOCK those that look like they could be bots of one sort or another.  These would be accounts that are following you but have either never tweeted, not tweeted in several years, have only made what look like nonsensical, inane tweets and do so only very infrequently.

If anybody’s following me on Twitter, I pity them. I tweet maybe once a month when I am utterly bored.

I keep trying to give my legal help to National Blogger’s Club, and Ali keeps ignoring me.  SIGH!

Ah, more pity for me then, as I do follow you too. But here’s is why I REALLY need pity: I just realized that today begins the last two weeks of my thirties. OMG I am a fortnight away from being a 40 year old woman. The horror!

Maybe the RightSolutions Blogger’s Defense Team would be more appreciative of your kindness and skills:

Personally, I think a person would have to be crazy to decline an opportunity to have you on their side!

I have to agree with Stacy on this.  There must be a central clearing house for the legal efforts.

Helping pay Aaron’s legal fees would be fine.  Then you can pay Allen’s, and Frey’s and McCain’s and Momus’ and Darby’s and dozens of others, one by one, as Kimberlin files suits against the next in line.

Sooner or later, the donors run out of money.  That would be playing into Kimberlin’s hands.

Instead, the legal efforts should be toward establishing the clear precedent that prior restraint cannot be applied any more to bloggers or tweeters than to newspapers, and to bringing the criminals to justice, and to making sure Kimberlin is labeled a vexatious litigant so he can’t keep filing 100 more lawsuits that amount to Rauhauser.

The National Bloggers Club is indeed under attack and so may be the contributor information.  With no way to donate by PayPal or without all the information asked for by the club that’s not something I’m willing to do.  The “back story” may be intriguing but just as you go in with the army you have, you can only make decisions based on the information you have.  I’ve donated to you in the last week and if you choose to forward that to the NBC I’ll kick it back to you.

Hmmm.  WHY would you “screencap” a comment unless you KNEW it would be removed, indicating your violation of the House Rules was intentional?

This is a privately owned site, Zippy, if you can’t work and play well with others there are plenty of leftist pigpens around with room for you to wallow.

You are allowing criticisms originated by the Brett Kimberlin aka Speedway Bomber to deflect you from Ali.
