Obamanomics: Good News and Bad News

Posted on | August 3, 2012 | 13 Comments

You’ll probably want the bad news first: The unemployment rate rose to 8.3 percent in July, a number in which the New York Times desperately seeks to find good news for Obama, which would actually be bad news for everybody else, because if the New York Times deceives people into thinking Obama’s policies aren’t a complete failure, his policies — which are, in fact, a complete failure — might continue another four years.

The good new is this: The College Republican National Committee is undeceived about the grim reality of Obamanomics:

Joblessness Among Young People Remains High

Washington, DC – August 3, 2012 – New jobs numbers released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that young people continue to be dealt a tough blow under this economy.
Youth unemployment sits at 15.3 percent while unemployment nationally rose to 8.3 percent. Breaking that down even further, for 18 and 19 year olds, unemployment is up to 22.2 percent.
“My generation continues to suffer under the Obama economy. We are facing record high unemployment and even higher underemployment and see no sign of that changing anytime soon if we keep President Obama in the White House,” CRNC Chairman Alex Schriver said.
A Harvard Institute of Politics poll from earlier this year revealed that 74 percent of young Americans consider jobs and the economy to be the number one voting issue for them going into this election.
“President Obama has had four years to turn this economy around and get Americans back to work but instead we consistently see abysmal jobs reports month after month. It’s time for real change in the White House” Schriver added.

More good news: The a–hole who made a video of his obnoxiousness at a Chick-fil-A drive-through window is now among the unemployed.

UPDATE: Speaking of college:

  1. The obnoxious a-hole’s “profile was scrubbed from [the University of Arizona’s] faculty listings Thursday,” the Arizona Daily Star reports. The obnoxious a–hole had previously taught MBA students at the university, from which he graduated in 1999. So he’s probably about 35 years old and just destroyed his career and reputation because of his own hateful, arrogant, moralistic self-righteousness. If Obama gets re-elected, this jerk will probably get a job — at the White House.

Heck Stacy, they could even buy my autobiography “Confessions of a Con-Man” on Amazon (print or Kindle) , the print version with free shipping this weekend! That would put money into the hands of my victims and put a few coins in Stacy’s pocket without additional cost to them!
Even if you don’t buy my book, buy something this weekend from the link above and put some traveling money in Stacy’s pocket … the RNC Convention is coming quickly! We need Stacy to cover it as only he can!

That dumbass college graduate didn’t have too much schmarts, did he? Even my grandkids know that whatever you put on the internet is there forever. You can’t scrub it out, not even with Ajax.

It’s the arrogance of the self-righteous, who believe that being on the “right” side of an issue entitles them to behave as they wish toward those whom they deem as being on the “wrong” side: De-humanizing the scapegoated enemy, they imagine that they will be applauded as heroes by those who share their particular beliefs. Their fanaticism blinds them to their evil and their narcissistic desire to be admired as heroes overcomes all normal morality and common sense.

Lee Harvey Oswald, Pol Pot, Harry Reid — these are all variations on the same theme.

So good to see the knucklehead who made that video lost his job.  And, the young lady in the video deserves a raise!

If you want to help with that, Stand With Arizona has the contact information for the young lady’s manager. I daresay a phone call/e-mail praising her for her composure in the face of weapons-grade douchebaggery would not go amiss.

Speaking of Pol Pot, Reid’s office has stated that pederasty is cute.

She did a fantastic job in the face of such an obnoxious barrage of self-righteous smugnastics. Chick-fil-A should be proud and so should she 😉 I’d have decked him and lost my job in the process which is why I’ll stick to buying Chick-fil-A and not being numbered among the privileged kind souls who work there. I get it from my Father’s side ;-D (thank G-d)

AP also wishes to spin the slightly higher than expected private job creation as potentially helpful to Obama.   Nice try, losers.  CNBC accidentally let some real info get through:  http://po.st/3oDE5s

She did do a fantastic job in being professional.  A perfect way to deal with an asshat customer.

I do not get how this report results in the stock market going up…except in the confirmation that Obama is on the way out.

With her poise and self-control she deserves a management position.
