Democrat Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Hospitalized Again for Mental Illness

Posted on | October 20, 2012 | 17 Comments

Unfortunately, liberalism isn’t listed in the DSM-IV:

U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is heading back to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. — and was reportedly en route Friday evening.
A source said the decision was made to have the the South Shore Democrat return to the famed clinic, where he spent four weeks this summer for bipolar depression. He had been staying at his home in Washington, D.C. since leaving Mayo.
A source who visited Jackson this week said, “Jesse wanted you to know he is finding it difficult to continue his treatment because the press is staking out his home and making access to his doctor, who is within a short walking distance from his home, incredibly hard.”
The source added that Jackson is trying “to stay focused and calm to enhance his treatment and is just following doctor’s orders.”

Who’s crazier: The congressman suffering from bipolar depression, or the Illinois voters who don’t mind re-electing a genuine nutjob, so long as he’s got a “D” beside his name?

Frankly, I think anyone who believes in Keynesianism needs to have their head checked. Maybe the Democrats can get a discount rate and go in for group therapy.

I believe Bi-Polar Disorder is a disease that you’re born with. Is it possible Jackson Jr. has PTSD. Being the son of Jesse Jackson Sr. would stress anyone out.

Well someone had to post this (watch the volume) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA_H6C8iLPA

He gets reelected because of the D after his name AND that his name is Jesse Jackson.

“Unfortunately, liberalism isn’t listed in the DSM-IV:”

No, but Narcissistic Personality Disorder is. Take a close look at our pols – you’ll conclude it’s endemic. You’ll also have to concede that it’s more heavily represented on the left side of the aisle.

The cause of Junior’s “bi-polar disorder” can be explained in nine words: “Not Guilty by Reason of Mental Disease or Defect.”

It’s the only way his crooked arse stays out of prison.

    ?

“he is finding it difficult to continue his treatment because the press
    is staking out his home…”

Just curious: How much did Jackson Jr. follow in his father’s
footsteps of harassing and demonizing political opponents, and extorting
money from anyone who seemed vulnerable? In other words, should I feel
    any sympathy for Jackson?

You might as well ask that question of the NOLA voters that reelected Congressman William Jefferson after he was indicted. Or the DC voters who can’t get enough of Marion Berry.

…and then there’s Alan Grayson…a nutjob if there ever was one. What kills me is he’s running for a congressional district he doesn’t even live in, in a state he’s not a resident of.

This is beyond disrespectful. Just because someone is bipolar, does not make them insane. I am bipolar and I am very comfortable with myself. You heartless conservatives will cling to anything to take someone down. If anything I applaud the choice to re-elect him. So many of our young and old are suffering from depression and suicidal ideation. This man gets it. This man can reach out to these poor souls in a way that no one else can. He won. Get the fuck over it.
