Libya’s Lingering Questions

“Who changed the Benghazi talking points?” asks Sharyl Atkisson of CBS News, and I’m grateful that she’s still asking it. Much of the national press corps is trying to make us forget the Sept. 11 incident that resulted in the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and four other Americans, and we should praise the journalistic persistence of those rep0rters who won’t let it be forgotten.

Praise is also due to the senators who won’t let Susan Rice off the hook for her Sept. 16 “blame the YouTube video” TV talk-show tour. Why was Rice chosen for that disinformation duty? Why did the White House deliberately deceive the public about the Benghazi debacle?

The bigger question is what was Obama doing during the seven hours of the attack.

I believe the White House deceived the public because the Obama admin has been arming anti-Assad Al Qaeda. Can you imagine what that would’ve done to his election chances? Of course, the election proved that the American people don’t care if their president is a liar as long as they keep getting free stuff.

This link is an excellent overview of what I believe is the real story about Benghazi.

Heh. “The praise which dare not speak its name.”

Susan Collins, the hated RINO, cannot be mentioned by name any more than the other prominent Senate skeptics, McCain and Graham.

Well, those other dirty RINOs, Brown and Snowe, are gone from this place now, so you can celebrate how much better off the GOP is with Senators King and Warren.
