‘U.S. Hate Preacher’?

When I saw that phrase in a headline, I at first thought they were talking about Phil Robertson, but no, it refers to Harlem-born Islamic extremist Khalid Yasin, whose hateful doctrine inspired Michael Adebowale, one of the perpetrators of the Woolwich Massacre.

The article points out that Khalid Yasin preaches hatred toward homosexuals, in addition to the rest of his general all-purpose hatred (e.g., anti-Christian, anti-America and anti-Israel), which would be cheerfully endorsed by most of MSNBC’s audience.

What’s interesting about Islam and homosexuals is that the Koran isn’t specifically against homosexuality. However, it does forbid men from being naked in front of each other. Kind of a mean trick.

In Saudi Arabia for decades and in Iraq in recent post-Saddam years, there are private “men’s” clubs in many cities which cater to a private clientele IYKWIMAITTYD. The attitude of many of the professional and upper class muslim men is that if it’s behind closed doors, it’s none of Allah’s damn business.

Of course, at some point the reality of the fundamentalist islamic ideologies they foster and support financially to “propagate the faith” will come back to bite them, hard.
