Woman Gang-Raped by Illegal Aliens

Raping the women American rapists won’t rape: 

WALDORF, Md. – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has charged six illegal immigrants with first-degree rape and false imprisonment for allegedly holding a woman hostage for hours and sexually assaulting her — and two more assailants are being sought, investigators said. . . .
More than a dozen other people, men and women, also live at the home, where people rent beds. . . .
The six men were arrested later on Tuesday. Detectives believe additional men were involved, but fled the residence prior to the officers’ arrival.
Police identified the suspected rapists as 20-year-old Henry Misael Hernandez-Ramos, 28-year-old Adelio Orellana Cruz, 21-year-old Ivan Urillas-Hernandez, 27-year-old Ismael Echeverria Montoya, 20-year-old Jose Omar Hernandez-Orellana, and 18-year-old Juan Carlos Santa Maria. . . .

These rapists are the “natural” constituency of the Republican Party, according to Dick Armey, who picked the wrong day to get on Michelle Malkin’s bad side. (Not that there is any right day to get on her bad side.)

Whenever an outrage like this Waldorf gang-rape highlights the issue of immigration and crime, the open-borders enthusiasts will claim that illegals don’t have higher crime rates than either native-born Americans or legal immigrants. This leads into a murky tangle of statistical analysis that is, however, utterly irrelevant.

It doesn’t matter whether the crime rates of illegals are higher or lower. People who aren’t here can’t commit crimes here. If there were zero illegal aliens, there would be zero crimes committed by illegal aliens.

Statistical differences between immigrants and natives on socio-economic variables like teen pregnancy, education and employment are often discussed as if immigrants were being substituted for natives, rather than being added to the existing population. Liberals (and not a few soft-headed conservatives) can’t seem to grasp the signficance of this distinction.

For example, every time a high-school dropout is added to the population via illegal immigration, it has the effect of lowering the overall education level of the population. If, as the immigration enthusiasts seem to believe, America has a shortage of high-school dropouts, why don’t we just encourage more American kids to quit school?

Instead, our society expends enormous sums to encourage American kids to stay in school, even as it imports hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens whose average educational level is substantially below the U.S. average. This would be a problem even if the illegals were Canadians or Australians, but is compounded by the fact that the vast majority of illegals are not fluent in English.

Merely to point out such facts — and facts are stubborn things, as John Adams said — is to incur the accusation of prejudice. Yet we are discussing a matter of national policy, and the immigration enthusiasts refuse to admit that there is any actual evidence that contradicts their open-borders arguments. Whenever such evidence is offered, the immigration enthusiasts just scream “bigot” and then blame their opponents for the incivility and irrationality of the debate.

    The real issue is that these illegals don’t have an anchor to the rest of society whether in it or alone. They have no connection to the world around them so what you see from them is what you see from anyone wandering in gangs.

    This is gang behavior.

    Most illegal aliens are not rapists, but they are still illegals. I want immigration. I think it is the bedrock of our society. We welcome new talent.

    But uncontrolled illegal immigration creates a quasi legal class who are less likely to assimilate, who pleade resourses and who are living in the margins. This is not how you build new citizens.

    We can and should do better. Enforcement of labor laws on businesses will do far more than fences or repatriation. Illegals will leave if they cannot legally work (and employers will not hire them due to fines).

    My modest proposal is take the out of work trial lawyers after tort reform and let them split the employer fines 50/50 with the government. Ouchey. Problem solved.

    With real unemployment hitting close to 20%, it’s funny how no one thinks that we “need” illegal immigrants anymore. (Perhaps we did not need them in the first place; after all, cheap labour historically has no effect on civilisation except to retard the development of labour-saving technology.)

    That said, when you have a group of people with no desire to assimiliate into the culture, no desire to keep American money here, and no desire to build a life, we shouldn’t be surprised when there are negative repercussions.

    And since there are zero illegal aliens (pick up your copy of the Constitution, look in vain for any enumerated power of the federal government to regulate immigration, then read Amendment 10), there are zero crimes committed by illegal aliens. So why so much verbiage on the subject?

    We allow a million legal immigrants a year. They want to assimilate. The dregs of all nations that come here illegally disrespect rule of law, our culture and our people. The most blatant are the likes of the Russian Mafia, the Salvadoran MS-13, the 9/11 terrorists and Mexican drug cartels. Even the plain opportunists are willing to commit felonies to steal job. The new ‘Welfare Queens’ and their ‘dependents” are no better.
