My Bagpipe Teacher Would Not Approve

As someone who occasionally gets some time on the instrument, I can appreciate the playing here, to a degree:
The fingering is articulate at ludicrous speed, and the peel-offs are way beyond my own meager skill. However, one is officially required to assume a reactionary stance about any non-traditional pieces on the instrument.
But would SFU tell him to STFU (silence the foolish unpleasantness)?

Hearing all this bagpipe music makes me want to march off into the sunset and start a war – no kidding!

I think the first guy is great. Your teacher is probably a stick in the mud. However, not being a bag pipe player, I have no idea if he is “dinking ” with the music. What I mean is – is he is doing the equivalent of Ave Maria to a 4/4 heavy rock beat? That would be most unappreciated…

Terry Lee and Jack Lee’s sister (Maureen) piped at my wedding. Living just across the border from Vancouver spoils you for pipes.
