T.C. Lynch says, “Leave Fatty McAwesome alone!”

You know a Republican is weak when even Conor Friedersdorf can hurt him. Myself, I agree with 34% of American racists, as opposed to the 39% of anti-American racists who support Obama.

Let’s face it: We’re all racists now.

When Christie says no enough, the GOP elites and uppper punditry class will start a drive to draft Mitch Daniels for President.

They are completely and utterly verklempt with deciding if Mitt Romney has it, if Herman Cain is going to run away with it, if Sarah Palin is going to jump in and be destroyed by death of a 1000 cuts.  They recognize their Huntsman plan is not working, Perry (who they are not thrilled with but could have lived with) impoded, and they don’t have T-Paw anymore.

Pay attention.  Because the attacks are now coming from both sides.

It’s hard to believe Christie isn’t secretly planning an announcement soon. After all, he spoke the magic words last night at the Reagan Library. The dreaded “we have to work together and compromise in order to make progress” mantra. John McCain worked so well last year, how could the GOP establishment possibly resist the clogged artery version?

    The “.” between “T” and “C” don’t exist.

Christie has only said he isn’t running about 100 times.  But if conservatives were disappointed when Perry’s reality turned out not to be their Perfect Dream, Christie would be a real crusher.

The Atlantic employs Conor Friedersdorf?  I’m surprised they even let him fetch McArdle’s coffee.

Conservatives are already on to Christie. The only disappointment would be if he somehow finagled a place on the ticket. That’s my main concern, that whoever gets the nomination will be pressured to put him on the ticket.
