I’m Sure Your Mother Will Love That Lawn Mower You Bought Her on Amazon

What mom wouldn’t be overjoyed to receive a 21-inch 160cc lawn mower for Mother’s Day, right? That was really thoughtful of you to buy that for your mom via our Amazon Associates links, so that you get low prices and free shipping — and also kick me a small commission.
Silly me! When I promoted our Mother’s Day specials last week, I thought maybe you’d want to buy your mom some tasteful jewelry, but when I checked the sales report — a lawnmower! Why didn’t I think of that? Also, that Canon Laser Wireless Color Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax? Truly a thoughtful present for dear old Mom! And what about that electronic dog fence with shock collar? I bet you can’t wait to see the smile on Mom’s face when she opens that lovely gift!
Of course, maybe our other readers aren’t thoughtful like you, so they’ll probably just buy their mom some boring old jewelry.
But that’s OK. You can buy anything through our Amazon Associates links, and your mother will be so proud that you saved money — and kicked me a small commission at no extra cost — because that’s the kind of thoughtful person you are.

…snicker…I have “received” for Mother’s Day the following in the past. Radar(and then following year an electric anchor hoist) for the boat, a new motorcycle, a 357, new tile for the house(which I had to help lay) and of course, a new vacumn cleaner!! Lawn mower might be a step up!

Okay, as a Mom, I would love a new lawn mower if I were in need of one. I am very practical, and simply want what I need. Last Christmas I needed a new iron, a new crockpot, (and was real giddy about the possibility of a new skillet with the grill gadget attached)..I got ALL of it for Christmas!!! That is just how I am.

As someone once said, “A thing of beauty is a joy forever, but a good cigar is a smoke.”
It all depends on what might make your mother happy. Some mothers want flowers and a nice card, some want to spend the day with their children without waiting on them, some might like a box of good cigars, some with a failing business and good insurance might prefer a well-timed fire.
And don’t forget the non-mothers among our female population. Don’t we owe Ashley Judd just a little appreciation because she did NOT reproduce? We should take up a collection and buy her a Jenny Craig course or something.

I’d gladly buy Mzzz. Judd a one-way ticket to Palookaville, but she already did herself.
