Well, that could have gone better. The Surface didn’t have any problem getting wifi at the Stratosphere, but like an idiot I forgot to save the login URL for the website to it, so I couldn’t get there from there. On the other hand, the power supply issue with my desktop box turned out to be a non-issue, and the tech installed the new hard drive for nothing, so this morning I stopped by and dropped off a case of beer for him.
