Should @TedNugent And The NRA Just Morph Into A Political Party?

His Tedness remains quintessentially American:

My point here is:

  1. The GOP seems kinda feckless.
  2. Political parties ain’t beanbag.
  3. The NRA offers great depth, if not breadth.
  4. The threat of an under-bussing might get a bit of notice from the GOP elite, once Boehner’s tear tank runs low.

The NRA has succeeded by focusing on just the one amendment. However, the collapse of the other nine in the Bill of Rights is truly worrisome.

The Whigs imploded because they wanted to dodge the main moral issue of the day. Are certain people the equivalent of chairs? Nowadays, the GOP wants to dodge the same moral issue, and probably keep on doing the crony capitalism as the Whigs before them.

Then it was slavery, now its abortion.

As to uniting fiscons and conservatives, not such a big deal. Remember the bannerman for the fiscons….Schwarzaneggar.

We don’t need to unify the base, we need to kick out those who won’t support conservatism no matter what, but pretend otherwise.
