Andrew Sullivan actually had nice things to say about Maggie Thatcher. He considers her insistence that mandella was a terrorist a mistake, but, hey, the facts are sometimes nasty things. Mandela was a terrorist and whining about it won’t change that simple fact.
The mistake with mandela was bringing him back ashore and giving him credibility. They should have left him to rot on Robins Island, and if the ANC didn’t like it, tough.
