Is Hillary Melting Down?

What difference, at this point, does it make?

“Hillary’s been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left staff members in tears and unable to work,” says a campaign aide. “She thought the nomination was hers for the asking, but her mounting problems have been getting to her and she’s become shrill and, at times, even violent.”

Meanwhile:

Just days before she will take the stage in the first Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton’s lead over rival Bernie Sanders has narrowed, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
Clinton’s support among Democratic voters fell 10 points within less than a week.
From October 4 to October 9, Clinton saw her support tumble from 51 percent of Democratic support to just 41 percent.

Meanwhile:

Democrats have moved to the left at least as quickly as the Republicans have moved to the right. . . .
As the Democratic Party lost power at the state level over the past 15 years, it also effectively shed its moderate wing. Centrist Democrats have increasingly lost seats to Republicans, “resulting in a more liberal Democratic party” overall. The authors find that the ideological median of Republican legislators has shifted much less.

Democrats’ loss of governorships and seats in state legislatures has disconnected the party from small towns and suburban middle-class communities — especially married-parent households and small business owners — so that Democrats increasingly represent, on one hand, the affluent urban elite, and on the other hand, the urban poor. The Democrat Party has a lot of college professors and high-school dropouts. The GOP voter is usually somewhere in the middle, a married parent employed in the private sector. Democrats win national elections by relying on the liberal media to help them promote fear campaigns that depict Republicans as a menace to women and minorities. This kind of bogeyman politics — “Mitt Romney’s gonna steal grandma’s Medicaid!” — attracts a lot of voters who don’t understand economics (or anything else, really) and so the electoral “base” of the Democrat Party is a Coalition of the Stupid, United by Ignorance and Fear.

So if Hillary Clinton is having a meltdown while trying to figure out why those damned kooky Democrat primary voters are going for a socialist like Bernie Sanders, whose fault is that, really?

    AHA!!

Another of your diabolical trick questions!!

She has “become shrill?” Was there ever a time when HRC was NOT shrill?

And violent? Didn’t the Secret Service report decades ago on her lamp-flinging episodes in the White House?

Seriously, Oz called and they want their Wicked Witch back….

Does this surprise anyone? Absolutely none of her “accomplishments” have been due to her own effort or intrinsic merit, but because she was born into an upper class life and married the consummate politician. She parlayed those things into an endless stream of public positions where her “successes” are illusory. Fortunately, the MSM has supported her delusions of greatness and now she believes her own press about being the smartest person in the room. Now that things are going south for her, she doesn’t have the personal mental resilience to deal with it.

Non I can think of. Though she can go on the lecture circuit lamenting the lost opportunity to break that last ceiling. The question is does Hillary or Bill for that matter have any of the old ”cachet” with no Clinton in the political future.

There’s no there there. The old bag has never been anything but a chiseler and a lying third rate mind. Her hubris is insatiable greed. A person with even a shred of self control would put her lying, thieving ways on hold while she sought the oval office, but Mrs. Bubba just can’t help stealing whatever she can.
The Clintons have been a national embarrassment for two decades. Time to learn the lights out on these losers.

Bill Clinton is to blame. If he hadn’t partnered with the witch in a marriage of convenience*, she’d probably would be an ambulance chasing shysters with her office in a ghetto above a sleazy dive, instead of riding his coat tails onto the national stage.

*: Convenient for Bill, ‘cuz he can dip his wick at will while presenting the facade of a married couple to the electorate, and could set the stage for milking donations through the very lucrative post-presidential speech circuit.

Convenient for Billary because she can munch carpets at will while faking being The Supportive Wife(tm) (and later, First Lady), and because she can use Bill’s political capital for her personal gain.

Which could get both of them back into the White House, with all those luscious female interns close at hand.

The only thing needed was a turkey baster.

Her father was working class born and bred and her mother’s upbringing was Dickensian without the humor. The family was well to do by the 1950s but likely not wealthy (or perhaps ‘petty rich’).

Some of Hillary’s accomplishments are her own. No one got through school for her and she may have had the chops to earn a good living at a metropolitan law firm like Rose (hard to say because she was arguing cases in front of commissions her ‘husband’ appointed and it is true she flunked the DC bar exam). Her brother Hugh under his own steam is a mediocre south Florida lawyer and her brother Tony is an absolute mess (who makes a living no one knows quite how); the house she grew up in did not guarantee a position in the professional-managerial bourgeoisie.

What she’s long lacked (and perhaps always lacked) was not ability but character. The first law job she ever had concluded with a reprimand for misconduct and a letter of dismissal; the man who fired her has said there were just three people he employed over a fourteen year period he refused to give references for; one was her and another was Bernard Nussbaum, who was later Bilge Clinton’s White House counsel. And no ordinary woman would have wanted anything to do with a lounge-lizard grifter like young Bilge Clinton.

If she hadn’t been on this odyssey with Bilge, it’s a passable wager she’d be working as a greasy crook of a lawyer in Chicago.

You realize Bill Clinton has quite a mess of 1st and 2d degree relations as his birth-father came from a large family? Tallying up the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and missing older siblings along with William Blythe and Virginia Dell Cassidy, it sums to 15 people or so. His brother Leon Ritzenthaler died at age 70 in 2009. Only three members of the Blythe-Cassidiy clan over three generations have lived longer than that: one paternal aunt who died at 82, another paternal aunt who died at age 77, and his sister Sharon Pettijohn, who is 75 (and appears to have made a point to keep away from him).

Now look at pictures of him next to pictures of Albert Gore (< 2 years his junior), Dan Quayle (< 1 year his junior), George W. Bush (just his age), John Kerry (3 years his senior), Joseph Lieberman (4 years his senior), Richard Cheney (5 years his senior), John McCain (10 years his senior), Gary Hart (10 years his senior), Michael Dukakis (13 years his senior), Walter Mondale (18 years his senior), Jimmy Carter (22 years his senior), and George H.W. Bush (22 years his senior). Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale look older than Bilge. With McCain, Lieberman, and Cheney, it's a judgment call (and neither Lieberman nor Cheney were ever handsome).

'Tis morbid, I know, but I doubt Bilge will have too much more time with the interns.

“…I doubt Bilge will have too much more time with the interns.”

Ergo, his enthusiasm for Billary! being the Annointed One(tm). Preferably tomorrow.
