Rule 5 Sunday: Farewell To The Slave Princess

This isn’t exactly, news, but as most of us are aware, the canny marketing pros at Disney have put the kibosh on products featuring Princess Leia in her slave costume, allegedly to quiet the whines of feminists, but surely to increase demand when they reintroduce them some years down the line. So this week’s appetizer, partially honoring the forthcoming Star Wars movie (let us all join together in prayer: “Please, God, don’t let it suck”) is a pic of Carrie Fisher in the aforementioned costume having a little fun at the beach. As usual, many of the following links are to pics normally considered NSFW, and the management is not responsible for any pollution caused to your precious bodily fluids should you exercise poor judgment as to when and where you click said links.

Princess Leia on the beach

Definitely not the reason Han Solo’s kids are ugly.

Leading off this week is Ninety Miles from Tyranny with Hot Pick of the Late Night, Girls With Guns, and Morning Mistress; Goodstuff follows with Bouncing Boobs, and Animal Magnetism follows with Rule 5 Friday as well as something completely different: the Saturday Zazvormageddon! The Last Tradition contributes Kyra Chaos and Sultry Simone, and First Street Journal focuses on American Policewomen this week.

EBL opens this week with Postmodern Jukebox, followed by Kim Novak with Rita Hayworth, Judy Garland, Natalie Wood, and other, less famous Sinatra girls.

“How about telling his daughter that the character is wearing that outfit not because she’s chosen to wear it. She’s been forced to wear it. She’s a prisoner of a giant testicle who has a lot of saliva going on and she does not want to wear that thing and it’s ultimately that chain, which you’re now indicating is some sort of accessory to S&M, that is used to kill the giant saliva testicle…. That’s asinine.”

Carrie Fisher is the Jennifer Lawrence of the 1970s/80s ?

BTW – Carrie Fisher is not wearing any underwear because bill Murray convinced here there are no underwear at the beach

I find your photo of Uhura and Leia oddly disturbing.

At first, I read that link in the article as “Ninety Miles from Tranny” and I thought, Great Godfrey Daniels! They’ve gone to the other side!

It’s amazing how much the mainstream has bought into Third Wave Feminism. Have none of those morons ever stopped to think why men are always targeted and women elevated?

Hello! That’s a supremacist ideology, not an equal rights movement. Even Playboy hires male feminist ass-kissers to write articles for them and the author of the new Star Wars tie-in novel personally lobbied Disney for permission for him to include gay characters.

Insisting a film about aliens and starships include real world demographics to make it more real is childishly stupid and reveals how much people with bizarre agendas are liars. My first thought would be to get rid of the aliens and starships.

Not really. She was too typecast to get any roles and she never sold her sexuality the way Lawrence does. Having said that, I think the Lawrence thing has just about run its course. People are learning she’s really not much of an actor and she doesn’t have that Julia Roberts thing going for her. However it’d be interesting to see Lawrence in a re-make of Klute or something like that to see if she can act.

Let’s not forget that in the first movie, Luke was lusting after and kissing his sister. How is that any more acceptable than Leia in a slave costume?

In Third Wave Feminism it is asserted that men created the taboo against incest to facilitate arranged marriages. Plus lesbian liberationists are innate perverts.

I don’t think Lucas had actually thought that far ahead (behind?) at that point.

I agree. He was just making it up as he went along.
Remember, too, in the first movie, Obi-Wan tells Luke that Vader killed his father.

Obi-Wan sounds a lot like Obama!

I’ve read parts of drafts before the final script. Pretty much everything was up in the air.

I also have this Super Secret Theory that the only reason the original trilogy worked was Han Solo.

Definitely not the reason Han Solo’s kids are ugly.

During their rebellious teenage years, when Han and Leia’s kids desperately needed haircuts, did Han ever wonder if Leia and Chewbacca hooked up?

I’d just as soon kiss a wookie!

    That can be arranged!

Which family pictures are more embarrassing for Han and Leia’s kids?

    1. Mom in her “slave bikini”, or

    2. Grandma in her “Princess” regalia?

I find it hard to believe he made it up as he went along. There is some major league cinematography, design and special effects in there and that takes months of planning.

Exactly. If you like your doctor and he doesn’t leave practice and he takes your new insurance, you can keep your doctor. 🙂

Obi-Wan: Your father was seduced by the dark side of the Force. He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader. When that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed. So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view.

Luke: [incredulously] A certain point of view?

Made it up as he went along from one movie to the next.

I guess if you’re willing to buy Obama’s lame excuse, then Lucas’ is much easier by comparison.
