Garofalo: My New Raaaaacedar Can Tell That The Herman Cain Enthusiasm Is Like, Totally KKKamouflage

by Smitty (via The Blaze)

There really isn’t a lot to add to the the flogging of this journey into freestyle idiocy. However I should like to introduce the concept of a ‘raaaaacedar’, which is a device that attempts to locate a raaaaacist and point a finger, and manages to have three pointing back. For example:

If I point a finger at you, three point back at me.

The other concept is the notion of the KKKamouflage Fallacy (remember, there are three ‘K’ characters), which says that you can be raaaaacist and just sprinkle a few of the hated out-group in prominent positions as a distractor.

Actual racism simply doesn’t support that level of sophistication. Can I step out of snark mode to admit one time where I, personally, had a racist reaction? Albany, Australia, 1999. I was in a bar, and an Aborigine woman was there. Short, sloping forehead, major super-orbital ridges like a rock shelf, covering wolf-grey eyes that look a few notches shy of human. I experienced a negative, physical reaction, a gnawing angst. This person I was looking at was just. . .wrong. It was a reaction similar to one you might have to open the pantry and have a big rat staring at you at eye level.

Anyway, I got better, and managed both to contain the primitive feedback, and treat the person with a reasonable politeness. I’m sure that I would have overcome that visceral reaction if I spent any time around the Aborigines.

In total contrast to that creeped out feeling, you have Herman Cain, a common-sense American. The kind of man I wouldn’t mind working for, in fact. The kind for whom I could cheerfully vote. Not because of his ethnic heritage. Not despite his ethnic heritage. Because of his purely American heritage. He is the sort of speaker who has both charisma and workable ideas for where the country should go. He really deserves more than this sad toss-off from Garofalo. Could she perhaps take the Akbar Challenge, and show up at a Tea Party, one wonders? Maybe she could bring Morgan Freeman.

Satan’s balls would be frozen on That day, my friend

Don’t give her ideas she would only go to bait people and start something.

I hope she keeps running her pathetic yap. Herman Cain’s donations increase substantially every time she treads over this tired, old ground, and just in time for the 3rd qtr numbers, too! I ought to send her a thank you card.

Maybe she’s a closet Cainiac. Time to come out, Janeane!

Morgan Freeman might be honest and gracious about it.

Garofalo would pout and chain smoke cigarettes if she did go, upset she saw no raaaaacism during the event.

Then she would go home, get drunk, have disturbing dreams about being a housewife, with a husband and kids and being…happy.  She would wake up with cold sweats, then lie about her tea party experience.

Beyond sad, but I strongly suspect that you are right.

Gagawfulo musta bought her new Raaaacedar at Solyndra because the effing thing doesn’t work.  It’s should be pointing at her and all the liberals who voted for Obama only because he is black.  It’s obvious now and was obvious then, there wasn’t any other “reason” to vote for the moron.

Hey, we should pay attention to Garofalo!  She has a high school diploma, and even took a few Drama courses at the junior college level, so obviously she is qualified to be treated on an expert on any subject of her choosing.

She is slowly – but very, very surely – morphing into Andrea Dworkin.  I am not sure where it ends but I am sure it won’t be pretty.

On a parallel track with Garofalo is our favorite lefty blogger and  bon vivant Amanda Marcotte!

    Um, Smitty (and RS McCain)…

I think somebody just hacked your website.  It’s not just that
“sub-human aboriginal” reference but also someone linking to
a neo-nazi dude in the story about feminism… You might want to
    fix this up…..

Morgan Freeman might *act* honest and gracious about it, but that’s all it would be, an act. At heart, Morgan Freeman is a condescending, self-centered thug who has made a living, in his mind, playing characters that white Americans “like” as a means of expiating their white guilt. The way he sees it, he’s the black man most white Americans want to call “their best black friend”. I’ve seen through this guy for a while now, which is why none of this surprised me.

Nobody should take Garofolo seriously. Who cares what she thinks? She has no expertise on any subject that I know anything about, she just has her opinion, which everybody does, like an asshole. Why anyone would put her on their show is beyond me. How many people switch their normal television routine when they find out she’s going to be on a show they don’t ordinarily watch. How many people would pay to go see a movie starring Jeannine Garofolo? How many people would drive a good distance out of their way to see her perform at a comedy club? Hell, how many people would walk across the street and pay to see her?

That ain’t the kind of ‘coming out’ she’s likely to do [see: Cho, Margaret].

How many people would use a free ticket to see her perform?

I’d do that just to blog about her act and the audience, assuming she had any. But I sure wouldn’t go out of my way to see her, even for free.
