Wait a Minute: Did Joe Biden Suggest Bernie Voters Are White Supremacists?

The same day he claimed illegal aliens “are better Americans than most Americans are,” Biden decided to exceed his daily gaffe quota:

Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden said Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” white supremacists were “very enthusiastic” about President Donald Trump.
While criticizing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for not disowning his supporters’ attacks, Biden said, “I know you’re seeing what has been online, the vicious, vicious threats, the misogynistic things they’ve said referring to the women who are leaders of the Culinary Union, and they received death threats. I mean, this is way, way — this is Trump-like. Way over the line. And I think Bernie has to disavow this.”
Host Nicolle Wallace said, “Do you think Bernie Sanders is acting Trump-like in his refusal to disavow people that may be unsavory but that are very enthusiastic about him?”
Biden said, “By the way, the white supremacists are very enthusiastic about Trump.”

What does this imply? If leaders of the Culinary Union have received death threats, have the police investigated? Do we know that Sanders supporters are responsible, or is this just what Joe Biden is assuming? And what was that “white supremacists” remark meant to signal? Was it just a random jab at Trump, or did he mean it as a dog whistle aimed at the black voters in South Carolina he’s counting on for his “firewall”? Did Biden mean to imply that, because Bernie supporters behave in a “Trump-like” way, they are somehow soulmates of the white supremacists who are “very enthusiastic about Trump”?

Go back and look at Nicolle Wallace’s question, though: Is this why she abandoned the Republican Party and became an MSNBC host, because she finds grassroots GOP voters to be “unsavory” people?

Think back to how Wallace backstabbed Sarah Palin, and think also about how she and the other members of the Bush-era GOP apparatus never expressed any real support for the Tea Party movement. Some Republicans have never actually liked the kind of people who vote Republican — the “credulous boomer rube demo,” as Rick Wilson says — and we should be grateful that Trump has flushed them out in the open, so everyone can see these #NeverTrump types for what they are.

NEW HAMPSHIRE RESULTS

Well, I suppose I might as well do one of these, since it’s the first time Democrats will vote in a situation where the party hacks can’t steal votes from Bernie. The polls in New Hampshire will close at 8 p.m. ET and . . . Wow, it must suck to be Joe Biden tonight.

UPDATE 8:10 p.m. ET: As I noted this morning, the possibility of a fifth-place finish for Joe Biden in New Hampshire could not be ruled out, and that’s how it seems to be shaping up. How can he continue his campaign after getting less than 10% of the vote in New Hampshire? Of course, the doddering old fool keeps talking about South Carolina, but I can’t imagine him doing so well there as to recover his “frontrunner” status. Biden was supposed to be Mister Electability, remember?

UPDATE 8:30 p.m. ET: Beside the Biden zombie campaign, you know who else is finished tonight? Elizabeth Warren. She’s heading for fourth place in her own backyard, losing to Amy Freaking Klobuchar, a nothingburger of Minnesota niceness. Warren was trying to be Hillary 2.0, selling what was supposed to be a new and improved version of The First Female President™ narrative. She finished third in Iowa and is now fourth in New Hampshire and where, pray tell, does she expect to actually win anything? So it looks like the feminist sisterhood is screwed, unless they can rally behind Klobuchar, who doesn’t strike me as the kind of Angry Bitch that feminists could be expected to support.

UPDATE 9:25 p.m. ET: Watching MSNBC tonight, and the anti-Trump network is in need of an intervention. They simply don’t want to deal with the reality: Bernie is winning, Biden is hopelessly doomed, and Warren probably won’t make it to Super Tuesday. Klobuchar did surprisingly well in New Hampshire, but she has neither the money nor the staff to campaign effectively for the Super Tuesday delegate bonanza. More to the point, there is no end in sight for this divided party, because multi-billionaire Mike Bloomberg has made a big play for Super Tuesday. Suppose, then, that Bloomberg is able to buy something around 10% of the vote on Super Tuesday. Assuming the Biden or Warren haven’t struck the tent by then, that will mean five candidates (Bloomberg, Biden, Warren, Buttigieg and Klobuchar) vying for the “Anybody But Bernie” vote. Even if Warren and Biden quit before Super Tuesday, however, there would still be three candidates trying to stop Sanders, who is good for 30% of the vote in just about any Democratic primary or caucus.

Meanwhile, both Andrew Yang and Colorado Sen. Michael Bennett have ended their campaigns, having gotten exactly zero delegates — the same number as Biden and Warren so far, I hasten to add.

UPDATE 9:50 p.m. ET: Looking at the numbers now, you’re struck by how weak Warren and Biden performed. Neither of them broke 10% and this outcome just won’t do. You’re not a viable contender if you can’t make double digits in New Hampshire. Considering that Biden was the consensus front-runner, leading nearly every national poll and with near universal name recognition, how does he explain this debacle?

Fourth place in Iowa and fifth in New Hampshire? Zero delegates?

Biden flew to South Carolina and gave another rambling semi-coherent speech, emphasizing the idea that black voters haven’t had any real influence in the results in the two early states, but so what? Does he expect black voters to stampede to the polls to save the old white man? Like they owe him something, and it’s time to pay up?

No sensible person would expect such a thing, and look at the calendar: We’re now about 10 days from the Feb. 22 Nevada caucuses (which Biden will lose), and the South Carolina primary isn’t until Feb. 29. Does anyone think Biden will recover enough momentum in the next 18 days to make his appeal to black voters in South Carolina more credible? Or would you guess, as I do, that most black voters are becoming disgusted with the choices offered to them in this primary campaign? Neither of the most promising black candidates (Kamala Harris and Cory Booker) even made it as far as Iowa, so why should black Democrats — offered a choice between five or six white candidates, none of them likely to beat Trump in November — get excited about voting for any of them?

UPDATE WEDNESDAY: Elizabeth Warren Is Doomed, and Feminists Can’t Understand Why.

Yes, Democrats Are Trying to Cheat Bernie Sanders Out of the Nomination Again

Bernie Sanders got the most votes in the Iowa caucus, but somehow — it’s just so mysterious — Pete Buttigieg got more delegates.

Besides the actual vote-stealing, of course, Democrats are also deploying their powerful media allies to hype Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar, as potential fallback establishment candidates, now that Joe Biden’s campaign is clearly approaching its Hindenburg-at-Lakehurst finale. Of course, the “Anybody But Bernie” narrative is being driven by Team Clinton, working behind the scenes to torpedo Sanders. Hillary cannot forgive Bernie for challenging her in 2016, so her allies and operatives are doing everything they can to make sure Bernie doesn’t win in 2020.

“In New Hampshire, Democratic Voters Are Paralyzed by Fear of Making the Wrong Choice” — well, here’s a hint: They’re all wrong. And speaking of wrong, let’s talk about Bill Kristol:

GOP-leaning independent voters in New Hampshire are receiving phone calls and texts from anti-Trump Republicans urging them to cross the aisle and vote in the Democratic primary on Tuesday, NHJournal has learned. The message is for these unaffiliated voters, who can vote in either party’s primary, to vote for a “responsible and electable” Democratic alternative to Donald Trump.
National #NeverTrump leader Bill Kristol, founder of the conservative Weekly Standard magazine, confirmed to NHJournal that he is part of the effort, which involves tens of thousands of New Hampshire voter contacts and a six-figure budget.
“Yup. I’m happy to have joined with some others to help remind New Hampshire independents, who might be accustomed to voting in the Republican primary, that this year, they may be able to make more of a difference by voting for a responsible and electable candidate in the Democratic primary,” Kristol said.
The calls don’t mention any candidates by name or endorse any specific Democrats, instead making a case for supporting centrists in the all-important First in the Nation primary, as opposed to self-described democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Yeah, with Team Clinton and the #NeverTrump crowd working together against him, Bernie Sanders is probably a shoo-in for the nomination. Kristol and the Clintons are a bunch of losers who deserve each other.

Democrats Begin 2020 Panic; Biden May Finish Fifth in New Hampshire

After a week of disasters, with the New Hampshire primaries looming on Tuesday, Democrats have begun to read the writing on the wall:

This was the worst week for Democrats since Donald Trump’s election-night shocker of 2016. . . .
In less than 200 hours, Democrats botched Iowa, watched Trump hit an all-time popularity high, debated ousting the DNC chair, and watched a socialist soar and an ideological civil war intensify. . . .
[T]here’s an underlying unease about unifying the party enough to get the kind of turnout needed to win in November. . . .
There’s a new fatalism in my conversations with Democrats, with many telling me that what once seemed unthinkable — Trump’s re-election in November — is now starting to look more likely than ever.
In a CNN segment [Sunday] morning that included Friday’s rosy economic statistics, a graphic asked: “IS TRUMP’S RE-ELECTION PATH WIDENING?” . . .
Whoever is ultimately nominated [by Democrats] will start in a tremendous hole against a Trump campaign has been relentlessly organized and optimized over the past three years.

The latest New Hampshire poll shows Sen. Bernie Sanders leading at 24% followed by Mayor Pete Buttigieg (22%), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (13%) and former Vice President Joe Biden at 10%. However, Sen. Amy Klobuchar got a boost from her Friday debate performance; she’s now at 9% in the New Hampshire poll, which means that if her momentum continues, Biden could finish fifth on Tuesday. That would be an unmitigated disaster for his campaign, essentially ending his status as “establishment consensus” candidate. The prospect of Sanders as the nominee sent MSNBC’s Chris Matthews over the edge of the cliff:

Just this week, former Clinton adviser James Carville had a meltdown over the “AOC crazy” direction he says the Democratic party has taken, and former Obama adviser Van Jones hit the panic button for Democrats over Trump’s serious play for black voters.
Not to be outdone, after Friday night’s Democratic presidential candidate debate in New Hampshire, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews went on a tear against Sanders, bluntly stating that socialism “doesn’t frickin’ work” and wondering what Sanders thought about socialist dictators like Fidel Castro:

“[T]hose of us like me who grew up — who grew up in the Cold War and saw some aspects of it after visiting places like Vietnam like I have, seeing countries like Cuba, being there, I’ve seen what socialism is like. I don’t like it. Okay? It’s not only not free. It doesn’t freaking work. It just doesn’t work.” . . .
“When they go back to the early 1950s, I have attitude about them. I remember the Cold War. I have an attitude towards Castro. I believe if Castro and the — and the Reds had won the Cold War, there would have been executions in Central Park and I might have one of the ones getting executed and certain other people would be there cheering, okay? So, I have a problem with people who took the other side. I don’t know who Bernie supports over these years. I don’t know what he means by socialism.”

Where has Chris Matthews been the past 20 years? Did he think Obama was a moderate centrist? Did he not notice the rising tide of radicalism in the Democratic Party? Hillary Clinton had to cheat to deprive Sanders of the nomination in 2016, and the Antifa goon squads have been terrorizing Trump supporters for more than three years.

For years, Democrats were able to have their cake and eat it, too, promising the sun, the moon and the stars to their left-wing base, while soaking up millions in contributions from the corporate donor class. In the Trump Age, however, that formula isn’t working anymore, and the Democratic establishment is collapsing under the weight of its own corrupt hypocrisy. Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen . . .

DNC Sold Out to Bloomberg ‘Because He’s Got a Billion F***ing Dollars!’

Michael Moore at a Bernie Sanders rally Friday in Iowa:

They are removing the rule to be on the debate stage, where it says you have to have so many people donating to you — otherwise instead of 27 people on the stage we’d have 270 people on the stage. You had to show you had a certain number of Americans that would give you a buck, that’s all the rule said, to show you have support. And that’s how they determine who would be on the debate stage.
Today they removed that rule because Mike Bloomberg, the billionaire, the Republican Mayor of New York City . . . They removed it so that he could be in the next debate. He doesn’t have to show he has any support among the American people, he can just buy his way onto the debate stage, and I’m going to tell you what’s so disgusting about this.
I watched the debate in Iowa here two weeks ago — the all-white debate — and the fact that . . . the DNC will not allow Cory Booker on that stage, will not allow Julian Castro on that stage, but they are going to allow Mike Bloomberg on the stage? Because he’s got a billion f***ing dollars!
I’m sorry. Those days are over. Those days are over.

The question of why the DNC suddenly decided to change its debate rules has a couple of answers: First, and most obviously, Bloomberg has given big money to the DNC and has promised to spend as much a billion dollars of his own money to beat Trump, no matter who gets the Democratic nomination. Allahpundit explains the second answer:

There’s a chance that Bernie wins easily in Iowa and New Hampshire, with Biden underperforming dismally. If that happens the media will be ruthless in attacking Biden as a chronic underachiever in presidential contests, the guy who just can’t get it done. The stink of campaign death will be on him even though he’ll limp on to Nevada and South Carolina. But establishment Dems will be panicking and looking for a longshot centrist option who might somehow be able to hold off Sanders. That’s Bloomberg, a guy who’s already bought his way into the top tier nationally and who seems willing to pay any price to promote himself. He may well be the only Democrat who can outspend the Sanders money machine, and he can do it by an order of magnitude. If Biden flames out early Bloomy may be the only game in town for centrist Democrats on Super Tuesday. Go figure that the DNC wants to start introducing him to the primary electorate as soon as possible at the debates.

In other words, Bloomberg is the fallback candidate for the “Anybody But Bernie” Democrats, who cheated Sanders out of the 2016 nomination, and are determined to cheat him again in 2020. As we discussed Saturday night on The Other Podcast, there is a parallel between the left-wing populism of Sanders and the right-wing populism of Trump. Both candidates ran against the party establishment — Bernie against the Clinton machine, Trump against the Bush/RINO/neoconservative crowd — and it’s possible that some “Bernie bros” hated Clinton so much they actually voted for Trump in November 2016.

Populism, rooted in a belief that the elite are decadent and depraved, is a powerful force in a society where political authority appears to be controlled by a corrupt cabal of insiders. As much as I abhor Sanders’ socialism, I am very sympathetic to his supporters in their resentment of the DNC establishment. Really, what are Democrat insiders so afraid of? Is it just because they think Sanders will lose? As if Biden would win? The idea that Creepy Uncle Joe would be a formidable opponent to Trump is a dubious proposition, and I think Democrats are more afraid that nominating Sanders would cost them the support of the fat-cat lobbyists who provide so much of the DNC’s revenues.

Crazy People Are Dangerous

Say hello to Hannah Roemhild, an opera singer from Middletown, Connecticut, who is a Bernie Sanders supporter and also crazy:

Hannah Roemhild, a Connecticut opera singer who posted negative things about President Donald Trump on Facebook, was named by authorities as the woman accused of breaching security checkpoints at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
One post on her Facebook page contained a sign reading “not my president” in reference to Trump. In 2016, she indicated support for Bernie Sanders on social media. She’s a registered Democrat, according to Connecticut records.
Roemhild drove a black SUV through two security checkpoints at Mar-a-Lago, leading to shots being fired by authorities protecting Trump’s Palm Beach property, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident location was given by authorities as “Mar-a-Lago main entrance.” In the media advisory, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department reported that the Florida Highway Patrol was “in pursuit of a black SUV” when it deviated to Mar-a-Lago. They now say that SUV was being driven by Hannah Roemhild. . . .
Ric Bradshaw, sheriff of Palm Beach County, said that at about 11:38 a.m. on January 31, 2020, a Florida Highway Patrol officer working a security job at the posh Breakers hotel in West Palm Beach was notified by security that they had a “white female who was acting erratically that was actually up on top of her car doing some kind of a dance.”
Roemhild then got inside the black SUV. The officer walked up to the window to get her attention, and she was “fooling around on the side by where the console was,” according to the sheriff. She tried to put the vehicle in reverse. He kept tapping the window. When she looked like she was putting the vehicle in drive, the officer smashed the window to grab the steering wheel, but it “didn’t work,” said the sheriff. She then drove off.
He caught up with her and then lost her in traffic. She drove toward Mar-a-Lago.
When a pursuit ignited, and she headed toward the president’s estate, authorities weren’t sure what they were dealing with at first, Bradshaw said.
“We didn’t know if it was someone with a car bomb or someone who was going to hit as many pedestrians as possible,” said Bradshaw in a news conference. At that point, authorities opened fire. It was a rental vehicle. She “crashed through” two checkpoints, according to Bradshaw. Guards moved out of the way just in time. . . .
Authorities say Roemhild fled Mar-a-Lago after the gunfire was directed at her vehicle.
The woman was ultimately confronted and arrested at a local motel. The FBI, sheriff’s department and Secret Service are all investigating, and they haven’t interviewed Roemhild yet. There were two females in the vehicle by that point. Roemhild picked up the second woman but that was after the Mar-a-Lago incident, Bradshaw said.

I’m not saying all Bernie Sanders supporters are dangerous, but . . .

Well, hang on, maybe I am saying that. Remember that James Hodgkinson, who opened fire on Republican congressmen in June 2017, was a Bernie bro, and undercover video by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas shows Bernie’s campaign staff is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, so it does seem as if there might be a pattern here.

Bernie Sanders: George Wallace Fan?

Should we muster some “strange new respect” for Bernie?

Seven years after Martin Luther King, Jr. referred to George Wallace as “perhaps the most dangerous racist in America today,” a young Bernie Sanders praised the segregationist Alabama governor.
In an interview with the Brattleboro Reformer in 1972, Sanders, then 31, said Wallace “advocates some outrageous approaches to our problems, but at least he is sensitive to what people feel they need.”
Sanders, now a Vermont senator and 2020 Democrat, said, “What we need are more active politicians working for the people.”
The 1972 remarks surprised the interviewer at the time, who wrote that “even though [Sanders] has been labeled a ‘leftist radical’ by some persons, Sanders had some praise for [Wallace].”
On other occasions, Sanders was more critical of Wallace and warned about the allure of white identity politics.

To explain “strange new respect”:

The “Strange New Respect” Award is the invention of Tom Bethell, who noted decades ago how liberals would always start praising a conservative or Republican who showed signs of moderation, Bob Dole being a great example. “New respect” — a phrase you’d actually see in the media — was a euphemism for “moved to the left.”
It is a totem of insincere liberalism, a coy way of attacking present-day conservatives. My corollary is that for liberals, the only good conservative is a dead conservative. Back in the 1960s, William F. Buckley was attacked as a fascist or worse, and dismissed as a retrograde force. Today, of course, liberals call him a “national treasure,” and bemoan that today’s conservatism isn’t more like Buckley.

Can conservatives play the same game? If Bernie praised Wallace back in the day, maybe we are unfair to dismiss him as a simplistic lefty.

Speaking of fairness, it’s important to remember that Wallace actually began his career promising progressive reform, and lost the 1958 gubernatorial election to John Patterson, who ran as an all-out segregationist and implied that Wallace was “soft” on the issue. After that defeat, Wallace vowed (in blunt language I won’t quote here) that he would never lose on that issue again, and he was as good as his word.

Few of our readers are old enough to actually remember those days. I wasn’t born until 1959, and was 13 at the time of the 1972 election, so all of this was really before my time. My parents were both Democrats, and rather liberal by the standards of the Deep South at the time. It is probably a waste of time to try explaining what attitudes were like — what people were like — many decades ago, in an attempt to understand that society. Most people will simply condemn my ancestors as morally inferior, but that condemnation requires a belief that 21st-century America is superior to the America that fought and won World War II.

The way history is taught nowadays makes it easy to forget that the America which defeated Hitler did so with a segregated military, and that all the U.S. troops that fought and died on D-Day were white. Ask yourself: Why is the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia?

Thirty-four Virginia National Guard soldiers from the town of Bedford were part of D-Day. Nineteen of them were killed during the first day of the invasion, and four more died during the rest of the Normandy campaign. The town and the “Bedford Boys” had proportionately suffered the greatest losses of the campaign, thus inspiring the United States Congress to establish the D-Day memorial in Bedford.
The Bedford Boys included three sets of brothers: twins Roy and Ray Stevens, with Ray killed during the landing while Roy survived, Clyde and Jack Powers, with Jack killed and Clyde wounded but surviving, and Bedford and Raymond Hoback, both killed. The losses by the soldiers from Bedford were chronicled in the best-selling book The Bedford Boys by Alex Kershaw, and helped inspire the movie Saving Private Ryan.

This one small community in the Blue Ridge hills near Lynchburg suffered the loss of 19 of its sons on D-Day, and this is a very white part of Virginia. Even today, 93% of the population of Bedford County is white. In 2016, Bedford County voted more than 3-to-1 for Donald Trump (30,659 to 9,768 votes for Hillary Clinton). To put it bluntly, Bedford County is everything the Left hates about America, and this raises questions about the kind of America that George Wallace sought to preserve. Even if we are horrified by the history of Jim Crow, we must acknowledge that our ideas of “progress” tend to overlook those virtues that our allegedly less enlightened ancestors possessed, and that the loss of such virtues — including old-fashioned patriotic courage — is implicated in many of the social problems we suffer as a nation today.

For example, liberals love to talk about inequality:

The men and women who sign up overwhelmingly come from counties in the South and a scattering of communities at the gates of military bases like Colorado Springs, which sits next to Fort Carson and several Air Force installations, and where the tradition of military service is deeply ingrained.
More and more, new recruits are the children of old recruits. In 2019, 79 percent of Army recruits reported having a family member who served. For nearly 30 percent, it was a parent — a striking point in a nation where less than 1 percent of the population serves in the military. . . .
That has created a broad gap, easily seen on a map. The South, where the culture of military service runs deep and military installations are plentiful, produces 20 percent more recruits than would be expected, based on its youth population. The states in the Northeast, which have very few military bases and a lower percentage of veterans, produce 20 percent fewer. . . .
In 2019, Fayetteville, N.C., which is home to Fort Bragg, provided more than twice as many military enlistment contracts as Manhattan, even though Manhattan has eight times as many people.

What does this mean? It means that American military power — the muscle of our foreign policy — rests disproportionately upon the shoulders of Southerners, particularly the children of military veterans. And this inequality in terms of military service has consequences for our national politics, because people who have “skin in the game” (my son is a paratrooper who has served in Afghanistan) are likely to have a much different view of foreign policy than the decadent elite who send their sons to Harvard instead of Fort Benning or Parris Island. The elite have more influence over foreign policy, but their sons are not the ones dodging bullets and mortars to enforce foreign policy, and this is a kind of inequality that liberals don’t seem to care much about.

Well, I don’t know how much that long digression has to do with Bernie Sanders, except that some people seem to think that the best way to beat Bernie is to smear him as a racist. Not in a million years would I ever vote for Bernie, but there are still 5 A’s in “RAAAAACIST!”

Stoners and Stalinists: Sanders Campaign Staff Is Exactly What You’d Expect

Earlier this week, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released undercover video in which Kyle Jurek, a field organizer for the Bernie Sanders campaign in Iowa, advocated “re-education” camps for “MAGA people” and defended Stalin’s gulag prison camps in the Soviet Union. In a follow-up video, Jurek described himself as an “anarcho-Communist” and declared that many other Sanders staffers share his far-left extremist views. Jurek’s habit of dropping f-bombs makes the videos nearly unlistenable — “bleep! bleep! bleep!” — and now we have the latest update from Deb Heine at American Greatness:

In the latest Project Veritas sting video, Kyle Jurek, the self-proclaimed anarcho-communist Soviet Gulag fan who is a field organizer for the Bernie Sanders Campaign in Iowa, admits that he was recently arrested for “weed” after knocking on doors for the campaign. Jurek told the Veritas reporter that the Sanders Iowa field director quickly bailed him out.
Anonymous tipsters from within the Sanders Campaign in Iowa have since told Project Veritas that they are concerned about Jurek’s behavior and fear that he could be a threat to the president.
As American Greatness reported on Tuesday, Jurek was arrested on January 7 in Saylor Township, Iowa, for operating while intoxicated (second offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to provide proof of financial liability, and violation of probation.
Project Veritas founder and president James O’Keefe wonders if the bail money came from Sanders’ campaign coiffures.
Jurek was caught on camera describing his arrest to the Project Veritas undercover journalist.
“I got busted for weed by the f*cking police,” he said, adding that he was still going through “that process.”
“Went to f*cking jail. The whole G*d-damned thing. F*cking right after we got done knocking on doors one night in Urbandale,” he continued.
Jurek said that as he was heading out to buy some more “weed,” the police stopped him.
“Like the cop met me at the intersection and I went through and he turned and f*cking pulled me over. And then like immediately he’s like, ‘why does it smell like weed?
Jurek indicated that he answered, “I don’t know, I don’t know what you’re talking about. And uhhh, [he] f*cking pulled me out of the car, searched my car, found my weed, found my grinder, found my bowl, found my kief, took me to jail.
Jurek said he was there for four to five hours before he was bailed out.
He said he made his first phone call to fellow field organizer Danielle (Hirano).
“Then Luke answered the phone, Luke’s one of the RFD (Regional Field Director), he’s the RFD for, like, West Des Moines area,” Jurek explained. “Luke answered, he’s like, ‘don’t say another word,’ he’s like ‘we already processed you bail. Just sit tight.’” . . .
O’Keefe reports that since their reports were published, Project Veritas has received several anonymous tips from people who know Jurek.
One from a campaign staffer, who says Sanders Iowa State Director Misty Rebik knew of Jurek’s radicalism and should have never hired him.
Even more disturbing is a tip from people who know Jurek personally. They say Jurek is dangerous and becoming more radicalized. They worry he might try to assassinate President Trump.

Crazy People Are Dangerous, and if you think Bernie Sanders is going to be elected president, maybe you should consult a therapist.
