‘Aspiring Serial Killer’ Amy Brown (and Other Reasons to Avoid Online Dating)

You meet the worst people on Craigslist:

An “aspiring serial killer” allegedly stabbed her date in a motel and planned to eat his heart after killing him. The victim told police Amy Brown, 24, repeatedly asked him if he was a serial killer while the couple was in a motel room bed. When he said no, she allegedly climbed on top of him and replied, “Well, I’m a serial killer.” Brown and the man met up at the Rodeo Inn motel in Lynwood, Washington on January 30 after arranging their date on Craigslist, The Seattle Times reported. According to a police report, Brown planned to murder the man and eat his heart.
While being questioned, she also told authorities she had written a note to leave on the 29-year-old victim’s body after finishing the job, “explaining that she planned to kill again,” according to police. After revealing she was a “serial killer,” Brown reportedly began stabbing the man with a pocket knife. He managed to escape and call 911, and met police at a nearby Walgreen’s, before being taken to the hospital with a punctured lung. The victim said the attack was unprovoked and there had been no altercation beforehand. He told officers they met when she responded to his Craigslist ad, which was for “friendship and possibly dating,” rather than sex.
Police found Brown in the parking lot of the Rodeo Inn, where she had a knife. During police questioning, Brown was asked what happened, to which she replied, “I’m a loon.”

The report did not mention whether she had a feminist Tumblr blog, or whether she voted for Hillary Clinton, but I’m just going to go ahead and guess she’s a Democrat, because most crazy women are. But do we really need to talk about Sarah Silverman right now? Never mind. My point is, if a woman is using the Internet to find men to date, it means that no man who actually knows her in real life is interested in dating her.

There must be a reason she’s trolling Craigslist for dates, OK? How can you be sure she’s not a deranged Democrat psychopath who wants to stab you to death and then eat your heart? We know that stabbing men to death is every feminist’s secret fantasy, and ever since Hillary lost the election, some of them probably figure they’ve got nothing left to lose. That’s what must have happened to Amy Brown. Trump won the election, and she decided now’s the time to live the feminist dream.

Or that’s my theory, anyway, but if anyone doubts me, they can check the election results: Hillary got 54% of the vote in Washington State, and exit polls show she got 62% of the female vote, so doesn’t it seem likely that a 24-year-old woman in Snohomish County is a Democrat?

Also, because no man who actually knows Amy Brown in real life was interested in dating her . . . Well, obviously, she’s a feminist.

The world is full of crazy people nowadays. Be careful out there.

Lesbian Police Officer Accused of Illegal Sex With 17-Year-Old High School Girl

Make her a “school resource officer.” What could go possibly wrong?

SEATTLE — A Bothell police officer accused of having sex with a girl she met while serving as a school resource officer has been charged with sex crimes.
Detective Dione Thompson is alleged to have first had sex with the girl when she was a 17-year-old student at Bothell High School. Thompson, now 45, has been charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, a charge meant to punish authority figures who have sexual contact with older children.
According to charging papers, Thompson had sexual contact with the girl in her patrol car, at the Bothell library and outside an Ivar’s restaurant during their months-long liaison. Thompson persuaded the student to move in with her for a time. . . .
Writing the court, a King County Sheriff’s Office detective said Thompson’s ex-partner reported the claims in August after the former student contacted her. Police then contacted the former student, who detailed the allegations.
Thompson first chatted with the former student by Facebook, then began seeing her outside of school in the summer of 2010, the detective said in charging papers. Thompson ultimately persuaded the student — who was facing “a lot of turmoil” personally — to move into the Shoreline home Thompson shared with her partner. The former student apparently lived there for some time. . . .
The former student told investigators Thompson broke off the relationship in February 2011. Recounting an interview, the detective said the student only recently realized the harm Thompson caused by misusing the power and trust given her.

You may be wondering why this teenager had “a lot of turmoil.” The young woman is under the delusion she’s a young man:

According to charging documents, the alleged victim identified as female in 2010 and 2011, when the alleged sexual misconduct occurred, but now identifies as male. Male pronouns are used throughout the charging papers to refer to Thompson’s alleged victim.
The allegations against Thompson came to light in August when the alleged victim emailed Thompson’s former domestic partner and wrote that Thompson had sexually manipulated him, the papers say. The domestic partner wrote the alleged victim, now 22, and told him she is mandated by law to report allegations of abuse, though the charges don’t indicate her profession.
She then contacted police in Shoreline, where Thompson once lived, the charges say. Shoreline contracts with the King County Sheriff’s Office for police services.
Detectives interviewed the former student, who was 17 and 18 when he had sex with Thompson in her unmarked patrol car, her personal vehicle and her Shoreline residence as well as at [Thompson’s] parents’ home in Arlington, charging papers say. They also once had sex in the woods off the Burke-Gilman trail between Woodinville and Bothell, say the charges.

The lesbian cop’s domestic partner is “mandated by law to report allegations of abuse” — perhaps a teacher or a health-care worker — yet thought nothing of Thompson’s idea of having this profoundly disturbed teenager move into their home?

A society under pressure to accept deviant sexual behavior as normal — the “Emerging Awareness” Doctrine that was the crux of the landmark 2003 Lawrence v. Texas ruling — finds itself unable to make necessary judgments. Decisions about who should be entrusted to supervise vulnerable young people are among the most important decisions in any society. The vast majority of people (more than 97%, according to federal research) are heterosexual, and the vast majority of sex offenders are also heterosexual. But for many years, our society has been under pressure to accept homosexuality as normal, so that anyone who objected to a lesbian policewoman being appointed as school resource officer would have been condemned as a homophobe.

“Discrimination! Hate! Prejudice!”

So, hey, here’s a teenage lesbian –a young butch who subsequently decides she wants to be a man — having personal “turmoil” at home, and she’s becoming unusually friendly with the lesbian cop. Maybe the tolerant and enlightened staff at Bothell High School viewed this as a sort of beneficial mentoring, but if anyone suspected anything was wrong with this situation, what could they say? If this had been a male cop who seemed to be getting too friendly with a teenage girl, no one would hesitate to raise an alarm, but how dare you suspect a homosexual of inappropriate interest in a minor?

Some things are predictable and some things are not, but when you destroy moral tradition, don’t be surprised by the unhappy results.

Ideas Have Consequences, and bad ideas have bad consequences.

The Silent Terror: Media Ignoring Islamic Radical’s Murder of Seattle Gay Men?

Ali Muhammad Brown is a suspected Islamic terrorist accused of murdering three men in Seattle and a New Jersey teenager:

The man accused of killing a New Jersey teenager and three other men as retribution for U.S. military action in the Middle East could eventually be charged with terrorism offenses, according to a national security expert.
William C. Banks, Director of the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism at Syracuse University, said that if the details of a confession by Ali Muhammad Brown described in court papers filed in Washington state Wednesday are accurate, he could face additional charges at either the state or federal level.
“If he’s got the motivation that he announced he has, which is to exact revenge for the U.S. killing of Muslims in that part of the world, he’s a terrorist,” Banks said. “It’s a matter of motivation.”
Brown, 29, has been in custody at the Essex County Jail in Newark since July 18 on charges related to the murder of Brendan Tevlin, a 19-year-old college student from Livingston who was shot eight times as he drove through West Orange on his way home June 25.
Authorities in Washington have also charged him with a trio of slayings, including the shooting deaths of two gay men in Seattle on June 1, and the death of another man whose body was found on a highway in an unincorporated area outside the city April 27.
Court documents detailing the charges in the April killing, made public on Wednesday, include statements from Brown indicating that he carried out the killings as “vengeance” for the loss of innocent lives killed as a result of American military operations in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and other parts of the Islamic world.
“All these lives are taken every single day by America, by this government. So a life for a life,” he said, according to the documents.

Brown was investigated for terrorism a decade ago:

Brown was part of a ring of men in South Seattle that were arrested by FBI terrorism agents in 2004 and under suspicion of funding terror groups. The feds convicted Brown and some of the other men on bank fraud charges.
“The FBI was unable to actually make a terrorism conviction,” said David Gomez — the former head of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force in Seattle.
Agents couldn’t prove the money was being used to finance terrorist operations.
The group was led by Ruben Shumpert, who owned Crescent Cuts Barbershop, which the FBI raided in 2004.
He was the first in the ring to turn talk about fighting America into action.
Shumpert skipped out on this federal sentencing in 2006 and was later believe to have been killed fighting for the terrorist organization al-Shabab in Somalia. He was reportedly killed fighting US backed forces in Somalia.
Now, Brown is suspected of killing in the name of Jihad.

Authorities say two of Brown’s Seattle victims were homosexuals he met using a popular meet-up application for smartphones:

The bodies of two gay men, 27-year-old Ahmed Said and 23-year-old Dwone Anderson-Young were found in the early morning hours of [June 1] not far from Seattle’s Capitol Hill gayborhood. According to police, they were both executed by Brown no more than 17 minutes after they had picked him up via a social networking app near a popular gay bar in town.
Both victims were shot in the head and police say there was no evidence of a struggle, robbery, exchange of drugs or any other type of crime. Neither of the victims had a criminal history, leading police to believe the crime was motivated exclusively by hate. . . .
Though court documents don’t directly implicate Grindr as the app used by the victims in this case, a friend of Said’s is quoted telling police officers that Said was texting frequently on “an app like Grindr or Jack’d” before his murder.

When the Seattle murders were first reported, nobody seems to have realized that Brown had previously been investigated in connection with an Islamic terrorism conspiracy. If Brown’s crimes were “motivated exclusively by hate,” what kind of hate?

Noah Rothman at Hot Air suggests the national media is ignoring Brown’s murder spree precisely because it is Islamic terrorism. Certainly, if these killings had been committed by anyone who could be portrayed as “right-wing,” there would be wall-to-wall coverage on CNN and MSNBC, liberal blogs would be going crazy and President Obama would be welcoming the families of the victims at the White House. But that’s not happening, is it?

The Matthew Sheppard killing had something to teach us. There were many, many reports about that. It was the most infamous single American murder of that decade.
In this case, three gay men were murdered. Three.
Not even a blip on the national news radar screens.

You know what this reminds me of? The “Asian rape gang” phenomenon.

Schoolgirls in England, some as young as 12, were basically being “groomed,” seduced and pimped out by gangs of Islamic men. (In Britain, “Asian” is a term used to describe immigrants or the children of immigrants from Pakistan or wherever, most of whom are Muslim.) These stories made tabloid headlines, but the respectable “mainstream” media was hopelessly gagged by political correctness and the fear of being perceived as racist or “Islamophobic.” However, despite this self-imposed blackout by the respectable press, everyone in England knows what is really happening. The subhuman status assigned to women in Islamic cultures is certainly no secret, yet British feminists were suspiciously mute about the rape gangs.

There is a conspiracy of silence, you see, which includes both gay activists in America and feminists in England, to suppress the brutal truth about Islamic jihad and what it really means. Why is this? Because the gay-rights movement and the feminist movement are both part of the progressive Left, which aims to destroy Western civilization — and Islam is their ally in that regard.

Boy-Crazy Teacher Meredith Powell Raped Tacoma Teenagers, Police Say

A 24-year-old Lincoln High School math teacher was charged Thursday with “two counts of third-degree child rape and communication with a minor for immoral purposes via electronic communication,” and on Friday she pleaded not guilty:

Meredith Powell performed oral sex on a 15-year-old student in her Tacoma classroom last month and sent him nude photos of herself taking a bath using the application Snapchat.
Documents said she also admitted to exchanging inappropriate texts with and having sexual contact with a second student, 16, during a Jan. 17 assembly in which they stayed behind and met in her classroom.
A third student, age 17, who was in her class during a prior year said he and Powell exchanged sexual text messages but did not have sexual contact.

According to an arrest affidavit, however, Meredith Powell admitted her crimes to Tacoma Police detectives:

On February 6, 2014, detective interviewed the victims. [He] disclosed the following: The day of the MLK assembly [Jan. 17, the boy] went to the defendant’s classroom. They kissed, he touched her breasts, and she touched his chest under his shirt. [The boy] then digitally penetrated her vagina. On the day of the assembly, [the boy] sent her a text asking if she wanted to stay behind and she agreed to.
During his interview, [a second boy] disclosed the following: The defendant is his teacher. They sent texts to each other and she sent him pictures of her naked in a bathtub. [The second boy] and the defendant kissed a few days after the MLK Day assembly when he went to her classroom and the door was locked. The defendant kissed [the second boy] and he touched her buttocks and breasts. The defendant touched [the second boy]’s chest under his shirt and performed oral sex on him. [The second boy] digitally penetrated the defendant. . . .
Detectives re-contacted the defendant and advised of her Miranda rights which she waived. She admitted the following: She preformed oral sex on [one of the boys] and her classroom door was possibly locked. He put his mouth on her breast and digitally penetrated her vagina. She told him to stop. She sent him a snapchat pictures. She thought they were of her in the bathtub and one of her in bed in the dark. The defendant admitted [one of the boys] put his mouth on her breast and digitally penetrated her vagina. They began texting after New Year’s Eve and it became inappropriate. She touched [one of the boy]’s penis over his clothes and he put his finger into her vagina. She knew her actions were wrong … When asked what she would say to the students’ parents, she said she would apologize.

“She said she would apologize”? Translation: “Hey, I’m totally sorry I got caught playing with your teenage son’s boner and stuff.”

Having recently written several items (e.g., “She Craved the Taste of Boy Flesh,” Jan. 12, and “Police: Ex-Teacher Tonya Drueppel, 33, Had Sex With 13-Year-Old ‘Girlfriend’,” Jan. 30) about sex-crime cases involving female teacher, I notice that this latest case in Tacoma is getting more media coverage than most, with reports at the Daily Mail, Daily Caller and NY Daily News. This can be explained simply: (a) the accused teacher is a skinny young blonde with a nice smile, (b) she seems to have had a habit of posting selfies on Facebook and Pinterest, providing lots of photo potential, and (c) the affidavit offers lurid details.

Dan Riehl comments on Miss Powell’s alleged crimes:

“There has to be some psychological stuff going on.
She could have just gone to a bar and found some
age appropriate men if all she wanted was some casual sex.”

We could speculate on what kind of “psychological stuff” Meredith Powell had “going on,” but that doesn’t explain what would seem to be a trend of these sex-crazed perverts, most of whom are not as photogenic as Meredith Powell. If more and more female teachers are having sex with teenage boys, you can’t really explain any one particular case except in the context of that trend.

However, let me make a simple observation: It is what it is.

When someone is apprehended in deviant behavior, the “why”/”how” questions — “How did they get so messed-up in the head?” — arouse our curiosity. But without a detailed personal history and psychological profile of the perpetrator, we can’t really answer those questions. The simplest explanation is that they made their personal choices and did what they wanted to do. If a woman is accused of giving a teenage boy a blow job, well, maybe she likes giving blow jobs to teenage boys.

Just throwing that out there as a possibility.

Finally, a friend on Twitter points out that Lincoln High is an urban school with lots of diversity: The students body is 27% white, 23% black, 23% Hispanic and 16% Asian, so maybe Miss Powell got kind of carried away with her celebration of multiculturalism.

Stereotype: Neurobiology Majors Just Can’t Resist Those Sexy Seventh-Graders

It’s a familiar problem in every college town: How to keep the neurobiology majors from banging middle-school girls.

Oh, sure, the nuclear physics department always has its share of jailbait-chasers and more than a few chemical engineers have a taste for the young stuff, but every university administrator knows this: Nine times out of 10, if the parents of some hot-to-trot pubescent townie call the cops to complain about their 12-year-old getting boned by one of your Dean’s List students, it’s gonna be a neurobiology major.

It’s one of those stereotypes that just happen to be true. That’s why, as soon as Evil Blogger Lady told me that a 22-year-old University of Washington senior had been arrested for having sex with a 12-year-old, I knew it was going to be a neurobiology major:

A university senior accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl told police the runaway was “dressed provocatively” when he met her near the University of Washington campus. Omar Abdelbadie, 22, was charged with second-degree child rape for the June 10 incident in which prosecutors say he smoked marijuana and had sexual intercourse with the girl he met after midnight in Bellevue’s University District.

When he says the girl was “dressed provocatively,” he means she was dressed like a seventh-grader, because he’s a typical neurobiology major, to whom a training bra is provocative. The headline at CBS News:

Omar Abdelbadie, Univ. of Washington
neurobiology student, accused of raping girl, 12

Our courageous news media are warning America’s parents about the danger posed to their daughters by these brain-science types.

Some people have accused Pamela Geller of fomenting hate and bigotry against neurobiology majors. IYKWIMAITYD.

Naked 19-Year-Old News Update

Officials have halted search operations for Maureen Kelly, who has been missing since Sunday in a remote Washington State forest. Kelly, a 19-year-old from Vancouver, disappeared in what can only be described as a search for the answer to the eternal question: “How stupid do you have to be to try something like this?”

Deputies are searching for a naked Vancouver woman, 19, who left her campground in west Skamania County on Sunday afternoon.
Maureen Kelly reportedly left the Canyon Creek Campground in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest just after 5 p.m. Sunday on a “spiritual quest,” wearing only a fanny pack that contained a compass and a knife. The woman was supposed to return that night, but didn’t. A friend reported her missing around midnight.

Local wildlife include wolves, mountain lions and bears. Never mind the problems of hypothermia and other dangers.

Skamania County Sheriff Dave Brown said Tuesday evening that two days of searching have failed to find 19-year-old Maureen Kelly. He says the search is being suspended until the end of the week.

Going out into the woods naked was no sudden impulse:

“She had talked about doing this spiritual quest for evidently quite some time,” he said. “The folks that she was with, they felt that this was something she needed to do.”

If you’re hanging around people who think this is something you need to do, you’re hanging around the wrong people. And are we surprised to learn she had a history of substance abuse?

Clark County court records indicate Kelly was in district court last Friday after failing a drug test required as part of pleading guilty last yer to being a minor in possession of alcohol.
At the hearing, a judge reordered Kelly to comply with all conditions, which included a fine of more than $500, according to court records.
Two days later, Kelly apparently went on her “quest.” . . .
Kelly is active on social media; she described herself in her Facebook profile as employed as a “guru” at “Spreading the Love.” On June 6 she posted a picture with the caption “There is no path to happiness. Happiness is the path.”
On her YouTube page, Kelly posted videos of herself playing ukulele and beatboxing, a form of making percussion sounds with one’s voice and mouth.

These are interesting skills, but not much help when it comes to surviving naked in a remote forest. Probably a public school graduate.

There is no path to stupidity. Stupidity is the path.

UPDATE: Did another species of predator get her?

If she made it to the road and then her trail disappeared — authorities brought in search dogs to track her — has she been kidnapped?

Democrats: The Establishment Party

Liberals love to think of themselves as rebels, mavericks rising up against entrenched special interests. But despite the “Question Authority” bumper stickers on their Volvos, whenever it comes to a showdown — progressive principles vs. political power — the Left usually ends up rolling over for the Democrat Party’s leadership:

In Washington state, Democrats worried the wrong candidate might allow a Republican to steal an open House seat north of Seattle. The entire party establishment waded into the primary on behalf of the more centrist candidate, Suzan DelBene, even though a prominent liberal, Darcy Burner, was already in the race. On Tuesday, DelBene won the right to advance to the November ballot by a wide margin.

Are Washington State Democrats ashamed of liberals like Darcy Burner? Are progressives who backed Burner going to roll over while the Democrat Party establishment forces “the more centrist candidate” down their throats? Backstabbed! Sold out! Betrayed!

Remember the Wisconsin primary, when progressives were supporting Kathleen Falk and the Democrat Party establishment lined up behind corrupt Mayor Tom Barrett? Same deal: The establishment insiders protect their power, and progressives are expected to smile, roll over and take it.

When are liberal idealists going to wake up and realize that Democrats treat them like a bunch of chumps, suckers to be played? You’re no better than the Democrats in Montana who elected a governor who slurs them as racist rednecks. It’s as if liberals keep acting out some sort of psycho-drama as a way of dealing with their self-esteem issues: “I don’t deserve to be respected.”

While We Were Out, Rush Limbaugh Apologized and Romney Won the Washington State GOP Caucuses

The entire crew of the blog — me, Smitty and Wombat — left home yesterday evening to attend the “Remember Breitbart” event in D.C., and got back home in the wee a.m. hours. Meanwhile, Rush Limbaugh issued this statement:

For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke. . . .
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.

So “slut” joins the “n-word” on the List of Forbidden Terms, and we are now at a loss for any way to describe Meghan McCain.

In other important news developments, Mitt Romney scored a surprisingly easy win in Washington State’s Republican caucuses:

With 99% of the vote in, Romney had 38%. Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 25% and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum had 24%. They were trailed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 10%.

As Ed Morrissey points out, no delegates were awarded as a result of this vote. Most news accounts omit the non-binding nature of Saturday’s vote, which was for some reason very important news when Romney lost non-binding contests in three states on Feb. 7.
