Obama Discriminates Against Foreigners

Citizens of 14 nations, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, who are flying to the United States will be subjected indefinitely to the intense screening at airports worldwide that was imposed after the Christmas Day bombing plot, Obama administration officials announced Sunday.
(Via Memeorandum.) Spencer Ackerman appears to be skeptical, which means this is probably a good idea. If the Bush administration had done this, Andrew Sullivan would be in an apoplectic frenzy. But I always knew there was something I liked about Obama. Not just his Marlboro Red habit.
He’s smart enough to know he’s the only president who could institute “profiling” without being denounced as a right-wing racist. Next: Obama issues proclamation honoring Robert E. Lee’s birthday. “Triangulation.”
