It would have been equally bad for the President to have treated Abbas as he did Netanyahu. Irrespective of how inverted the treatment of Honduras, Britain, Iran, &c, each new bit of creepiness and slipshod statesmanship brings fresh outrage. Instapundit offered some counter-arguments, which mitigate some concern, but not much. Let those of the praying variety pray for peace.

That’s sort of how I feel about it. Nobody with an iota of decorum invites people into their home and then treats them that way. I know, because I’ve been in plenty of homes where the hospitality was lacking. All of them related to me, of course.

Being a statesman and behaving like that is beyond embarrassing.

Cool! My second link ever on TOM. I’m taking a screen shot and sending it to the Vice Principal of my old high school who said I’d never amount to anything…

Who’s laughing now, Mr. Johnson?! (Seriously, though… thanks guys!)
