So looking at that postcard about HIV “disclosure”, they’re basically saying it’s a right to infect another person with a fatal STD now. I’m so glad I’m no longer a liberal. This is inexcusable.

I honestly don’t think most parents are aware of how the Girl Scouts have been hijacked.

Most girl scout troops are NOT hijacked, but the leadership of the national office of Girl Scouts definitely has its own agenda. There are a lot of lesbians in Girl Scouting and they definitely have their own agenda. I say that because my daughters are in it and my wife was a trained leader. While I like my daughters being in scouting, I would never allow them to go unaccompanied to any girl scout camp.

It is looking more and more as if those troglodytes in the Boy Scouts may have it right. Of course I have been out with cub scouts selling popcorn and (on a few occasions) have had angry lesbians yell how it is an organization of hate. Dworkin types. Charming.

And personally, I think gay scouts should be allowed to participate if they wish to do so, but not to the point of sexualizing scouting. If you are gay, fine, shut up about it and be a scout. Because, guess what, heterosexuality is not promoted or focused on in scouting either. What is focused on is character.

The Girl Scouts were hijacked 30 years ago. The left has infiltrated every thing they could. They hate BSA because they have had every avenue they could use cut off. GSA was vulnerable.

A number of concerned people got together and formed American Heritage Girls. While there are a few bright spots in GSA, on the whole they have gone to the devil. AHG is growing and I wish them the best.

I’m generally a live-and-let-live kind of guy, who was sympathetic to Coulter’s comments at CPAC that conservatives tend to act like being gay is worse than any other sin and that there’s a little extra animosity directed against gays.

But, then, we have to deal with the reverse-bigoted crusaders like Diane Schneider, who have bored their ways into those institutions through which they can do the most mischief. I’m by no means comparing the angry Schneider-types to Islamist terrorists (and/or Muslim Brotherhood “moderates”); nevertheless, attempts to confront these cultural Marxists sometimes present similar no win situations: you must fight them aggressively at times, but you have to make compromises with yourself in the process.

In a way they’re worse than the Muslims because its easy to underestimate their influence.

I do believe the UN once served a useful purpose (although it was always also doing counterproductive stuff, too) during the early Cold War, by allowing a forum where we could talk quickly to the leadership of the USSR and avoid crises turning into all-out wars. Even after Nixon’s “Detente” initiative opened direct communications and an easing of relations with the Soviets, the UN provided a system to bring other nations into the world community, specifically Red China, although those opportunities were mishandled IMHO.

Once the USSR collapsed, however, whatever usefulness the UN may have had was past. Now it’s just a place for corrupt dictators to send their cronies for a good time and free parking.

Libya was Chair-nation of the UN Human Rights Commission, for example, until shortly after they began shooting their own people. Cuba and Iran are still on it. Added to the travesty detailed in this post, do I need more examples? If so, there are many indeed.

Recently it was a news headline that — in light of what Mummer Godaffy is doing to stay in power — Libya was ousted from the UN’s human-rights panel.

Nobody seemed to note the irony of Libya having been on the damn thing in the first place (though to be fair it was much talked about when Libya got the seat, years-and-years-and-years ago.).

Good point. Why worry about terminal STDs when kids can get Happy Meal toys with their fries. This just adds another fetid layer to the “my body, my choice” canard.

Anyone or any blog reposting this slander really ought to issue a retraction.
