Rule 5 Sunday: Hi Friend!

Posted on | June 5, 2011 | 10 Comments

As we struggle manfully to close the door on the all-week sausage-fest known as WeinerGate*, we must extend the hand of fellowship and forgiveness to the Rio Norte Line. Overcome with the shame and degradation involved in posting about another man’s wang all week, he sought to purge himself and seek redemption by posting these delightful pix of Myleene Klass. Later in the week, he sought further indulgences by means of Frieda Pinto.
You’re good in my book, son. :)

Elsewhere in the Rule 5 blogosphere, Greg Joyce offers a 90-minute farce, Working Stiff. I am given to understand that it has Rule 5 content.

Culture Warrior pays attention to the classics, Wonder Woman in particular. Fishersville Mike bids farewell to the Atlanta Thrashers, Randy’s Roundtable offers Abigail Clancy and Jessica Hart; Eye of Polyphemus has some Alison Haislip, a pair of Doctor Who Companions, and Gillian Anderson.

Wyblog reminds us that Friday was National Doughnut Day, Reaganite Republican spotlights Vlad’s Voluptuous Vixens, the POH Diaries have some Blake Lively shots, and A View From The Beach looks at Baywatch Babes, appropriately enough. On a related topic, Maggie’s Notebook takes note of Penelope Cruz’ appearance in On Stranger Tides and provides not only pix of the delectable Ms. Cruz but the trailer for the movie and a clip of her dancing in a Little Black Dress. Yum.

Postaldog offers Carmen Electra this week, but also has some nice Hilary Duff and some definitely NSFW Blake Lively. Why you holding out on us, ‘Dog? At Dustbury, we have some Hilary Swank, Sigrid Thornton, and the Prescott twins. Three Beers later brings the Joan Jett hotness this week as well as another installment in the ongoing Juliana Moreira madness.

Soylent Green serves up the snoochitas with Claudia Albertario, marks the beginning of Summer Traffic Suck Season, and marks what would normally be Corset Friday with Friday Finery. Not content with this, he provides an antidote to excessive Weiner and throws in what looks like the full set of Blake Lively nude pix.

The Camp of the Saints choose quality over quantity this week, bringing the Paz Vega, a bevy of beauties on the Rule 5 News, and perhaps most importantly, Ginger Lee. Woof! No need to apologize at all, Bob!

The DaleyGator’s DaleyBabes for this week included Ashley Massaro (with a video), Ana De La Reguera, a hat tip to Pirates’ Cove, Kelly Brook, various Asian babes, and Dania Ramirez.

Thanks to all for their links! To be included in next week’s Rule 5 roundup, please send your linkagery to Rule 5 Wombat by June 11.

*I dasn’t complain too loudly; finding out that the Boss had linked pretty much every single blog in America that was following the Weiner Eruption saved me half an hour of work every night on LIVE AT FIVE. :)

I see ole Congressman Paul is closing in on raising  an additional $1M in 24 hours today.  Where are these phantom supporters that don’t actually exist coming from.  They frustrate me greatly.

Thanks for the linkage once again.

You’re too kind, Wombat – thank you.

I’m not worthy of the high quality linkage but I greatly appreciate it and the visits by the like-minded folks who frequent The Other McCain.

If it weren’t for you guys I’d have to go back to selling my body for sex and twittering pictures of my junk as advertising (maybe THAT is why I failed as an escort).

Never underestimate the power of a small but determined minority.

Kind and cruel, two sides of the coin.

NB: I have never been cruel to Bob. You could learn something from his example, young commenter.

Judging, rating a commenter, is usually a matter of looking at externals. I can perhaps tell something about whether or not somebody is cruel/kind, simple-minded/clever, honest/dishonest, etc….

Judging *IS* mainly looking at externals and they are fallible indicators, but there is no reason to assume they are always wrong, or even as wrong as a coin-flip.

I allow my judgments to be influenced by those of others (as do many of us i suspect). This both filters out my own prejudices and has the danger of buying into others’ silly trips, but i think overall it is not too bad. (Yes, that’s my opinion of my opinions :-) )))
