Whenever anybody tries the appeal to authority fallacy on “climate change,” I remind them that scientists who have the facts on their side and have been truthful do not need to lie about their data, dispose of their original data, mislead on the data, alter graphics to hide data, conspire to alter findings, or risk imprisonment by criminally disposing of public documents to avoid disclosing them as required by law.

And I invite them to explain how any of those things is consistent with someone who is telling the truth and armed with facts.

Oh, they heard. But I submit that AGW isn’t dead by a long shot.  The enlightened rely on the fact that millions of ignorant benighted  can’t possibly be smart enough to understand what’s going on. So they plow ahead with their campaign. Plus, the relentless indoctrination of  children by the educational establishment practically guarantees a fresh supply of ignoramuses to dupe.
