The camera hated the guy on the right, especially in the second photo. Gabriella Hoffman more than makes up for me. You all can call me Quasimodo at your liesure:

Then Stacy had to pose with this great big little student fellow:
Later, I tried (and failed) to clean up The World’s Funkiest Laptop Screen:
Stacy has wondered aloud at his bandwidth problems: the packets are delayed that ichor on the screen.

I’m more concerned about that shady character on the left.  Seriously.  Look at that shadow.  All the guy on the right has to do is sing a few bars of “Moon Over Parma…”

Every hot chick at CPAC outght to have “help” written on the right eyelid, and “me!” on the left, so they can close them at critical moments, if necessary.

Welcome Miss Hoffman to the real elite [Bob tips his fedora and makes a slight bow].  You ladies class-up the Axis.

Smitty: Relatively speaking, you’re a much more handsome guy then Stacy.

Thank you both for the photo op and allowing me to access  the Axis of Fedora. 😉

[…] In between blogging/reporting for my respective media organizations, I was able to meet some distinguished commentators and op-ed writers. I met Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein and Charlie Spiering (both of whom I’ll be seeing this summer once I start at RAP. Saddened I didn’t meet David Freddoso then!); Townhall.com’s Katie Pavlich; Tea Party Nation’s Judson Phillips; Right Wing News’ John Hawkins; Eye on Politics; Franklin Center’s Tabitha Hale; Misfit Politics’ Brandon Morse and Cole Streeper; Accuracy In Media’s Benny Johnson; FreedomWorks’ Kristina Ribali; Girls Just Wanna Have Guns’ Regis Giles; and many more. And my time in the media lounge (and at CPAC) wouldn’t be complete without seeing the gentlemen of The Other McCain (Robert Stacey McCain and Chris Smith), who inducted me into the Axis of Fedora. […]
