Indiana Governor and The Other McCain reader (?) Mitch Daniels usedAt least I'm not as bald as Smitty, said Mitch. body language to emphasize the proper configuration of the comb-over, whether adorning a conservative or progressive noggin.
It’s OK, Mitch: nobody thinks the less of you because you’ve vast tracts of. . .forehead.
Just go cue ball already, man.

Then again, via Insty, maybe there’s hope.

Hard to find a better candidate for OMB or even CoS than Daniels.  Portman and probably Ryan could also run OMB, although both may be more valuable and necessary right where they are now.

Romney is the perfect dream CoS, with Zombie Reagan or even Zombie Nixon at the Resolute Desk, but those guys didn’t show up.  Just as well, they’d have probably just ate brains of the living anyway, meaning Pelosi, Reid, and Obama would be safe.

Mitch doesn’t need to worry about the hair part – Romney’s got that handled without so much as a John Edwards consultation.  A little gray creeping it at the temples, like early Reed Richards.

Did you intend to cheer us up with that?  Because it didn’t work.

I can see it now, vast legions of shaven-headed conservatives…

    Oh, wait, that’s Antelope Valley.

That would be the  Reed Richards who helped violate the rights of millions of Americans and tore the country apart in the Civil War story arc, right?
