I’d’ve Been All: ‘Speaking of ObamaCare, Estimate Its Half-Life If Romney Wins’

Durbin, trying to downplay the recently God-less Democrat platform:

“I’m just telling you, you are harping on a trifle,” Durbin said, adding that the Democratic Party platform was “the most unread document in the history of American politics.”

I’ll bet a soda that, unless Durbin is personally sponsoring legislation, he reads, roughly none of what passes through the Senate.

I’ll see your soda and raise you a moonpie (that you’re absolutely right)!

Reading takes time. And it’s hard. Besides, he’s got payments to take and a trust fund to bankroll.

No way. He has staffers to read the bills he has them write.

Well, as another Democrat said, you have to read to to find out what’s in it.

There is a video at ZeroHedge that shows the unreality of today’s floor vote changing the platform yet again. They must be scared shitless by brett baier. You really should go watch it right now.

There are many dogs smarter than Durbin. And certainly many cows.

Good timing having Fluke on during HT. At first I thought she was taking about the horror of Barack Obama when she described a president standing by as public figures savaged those private individuals speaking out. But then she said Paul Ryan wants to kill women. Or something like that.
Oh well, back to the game.

Durbin is a corrupt fool who no more belongs in the Senate than he does performing brain surgery – although if the patient were Biden or Patty Murray, he could do less harm than he does in office.

Uh, I was concurring with Smitty.

Right. And Smitty says that he thinks Durbin reads the legislation that Durbin personally sponsors.

I disagree with the both of you! Anyways, everyone knows that you don’t find out what’s in a bill by reading it, but by passing it, so I’m not sure why we’re so interested in who read what when.

    “Harping on a trifle”

If it was such a trifle then why did the floor vote take place three times? If it was such a trifle then why did the nays overpower the yeas only to have the DNC force it back into this year’s platform? It is no trifle. And neither is denying G-d.
Like Frank J. Fleming (@IMAO_) on twitter wrote, “The booing was bad. The “Give us Barabbas!” chant afterwards was even worse.”

With all the God trashing, maybe the Dems were smart to avoid an outdoor venue!
