President Cosmic Lightworker Expresses Disappointment in Mere Mortals at IRS

“Obama: Anatomy of a World Leader,” by Alex Gray (detail)

“Difficult as it may now be to recall, there were once ‘spiritually advanced people’ who looked at this Chicago machine politician and saw ‘a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being . . . who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet.’”
Robert Stacy McCain, Oct. 25, 2012

Do not question His Divine Wrath at the career IRS guy who has only been “acting commissioner” since November and drew the short straw:

President Obama said the acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service resigned Wednesday and promised that he “will not tolerate” the types of abuses reported by the agency’s inspector general. Speaking from the East Room of the White House, the president promised to “hold the responsible parties accountable” and said the administration “will work with Congress” on their investigations.
The agency’s acting commissioner, Steven Miller blamed two “rogue” employees in the Cincinnati IRS office for targeting conservative groups, but Obama said that Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had requested and received Miller’s resignation Wednesday. The political abuses were “inexcusable,” the president said. …

Inexcusable, “rogue employees,” to get caught targeting the Enemies List: Tea Party, Christians, assorted People Not Down for the Agenda.

Inexcusable, and it would have been even worse, if we had known about this at some point prior to November 6, but . . . hey, Lightworker.

One of the things about covering this stuff as a journalist is that it’s so predictable, it’s not exactly what you’d call “news,” eh?

Cynical? No, just not a complete sucker. Who ever really believed a word they said in the first place? They’re Democrats: People of the Lie.

“What’s that wonderful smell? Ah, unicorn farts!

BREAKING: After an exhaustive internal investigation, three “low level” telemprompters have been identified as the primary sources of recent Team Obama “factual inaccuracies”. Two have been moved to storage. The third is now interim IRS Director.

There was no link but an Ace of Spades’ commenter says the House cloakrooms were bugged by the DOJ. No word yet on if both or just the Republicans’.

And before I forget…..just how permanent is this resignation of the acting commissioner, a career bureaucrat? Did he resign from the position back to his permanent slot, or is he leaving civil service entirely?

This is no “oops, our bad” moment. Laws have been broken, and in such a way that directly threatens the freedom of every citizen of this country. People need to be fired, sure – like every single one who was involved in it in ANY fashion, or knew what was happening and failed to report it up the chain of command.

But we MUST have an independent Special Prosecutor to investigate this – Jack the Crook Lew at Treasury isn’t enough. And Treasury doesn’t have sufficient authority for these sort of criminal investigations anyway.

The pigeon that is Chicago politics has shat all over the nation’s metaphorical windshield.

Thank you very much, Obama voters!

Right: That was from an interview on Hugh Hewitt’s show, I believe. Some of the Associated Press phones for which they seized records were in the Capitol, is the story as I understand it.

Was the Acting Commissioner fired for the misconduct that occurred before his watch or the investigation and exposure of the misconduct that occurred on his watch?

He may not have been fired at all; his term ends in June anyway.

I don’t understand why people won’t listen. It isn’t as if we didn’t already know that we needed to abolish the IRS and the Department of Justice, the EPA, the FCC, Kathleen Sebelius and Health and Human Services, and obviously the Democratic Party. While admittedly an incomplete list it would be a good first days work.
