Max Blumenthal in the classic 2010 YouTube video, “Hannah and the Booger.”
“It is no exaggeration to say that this book could have been published by the Hamas Book-of-the-Month Club (if it existed) without a single word change once it’s translated into Arabic.”
— Eric Alterman on Max Blumenthal’s Goliath
Good Lord, @RosieGray, have these anti-Israel pro-@MaxBlumenthal trolls been up in your TL all week?

Troll uses #zionazi hashtag > @Zionazism < and calls us "asinine dumbtards" https://t.co/w9msu2BWUt | @eriContrarian @RosieGray @instapundit

“Egged on by bloodthirsty radicals both Arab and non-Arab, Muslim and non-Muslim, Palestinian leaders have made the annihilation of Israel their casus belli for decades, and have recruited killers around the world to rally to that banner.”
— Robert Stacy McCain, Dec. 5, 2010
In the rancid stew of leftover Bush-era hatreds, one of the many foul ingredients is anti-Semitic fear-mongering about the “Israel lobby.” This typically manifests itself in mutterings that blame “neo-cons” for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and paranoid rhetoric about the allegedly omnipotent influence of AIPAC (The American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and various other shadowy Zionists.
The Sirhan Sirhan Wing of the Democrat Party, as I’ve called this far-left faction, overlaps but is not coterminous with that sphere of radical Islamic sentiment which gives rise to concern about Muslim Brotherhood influence in American politics. You don’t have to buy into any tinfoil-hat conspiracy theories to see that if there is such a thing as an “Israel lobby” in Washington, then opposition to Israel would also tend to form a discernible coalition, some of whose members are sympathetic to, and supported by, Islamic extremists.
In this context, it helps to remember that one reason the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers was denied “professor emeritus” honors was that a Weather Underground manifesto was dedicated to a constellation of radical figures which included Robert F. Kennedy’s assassin, the Palestinian fanatic Sirhan Sirhan. The anti-American Left and the anti-Israel Left share a quite similar worldview. Quod erat demonstrandum.
When I learned Saturday that BuzzFeed reporter Rosie Gray was under attack for her article about a dispute involving Max Blumenthal, Max’s father Sidney Blumenthal and liberal journalist Eric Alterman, I immediately checked Rosie’s Twitter timeline:
man, loving my new job as neocon smear artist and cut-out for the lobby
— Rosie Gray (@RosieGray) November 7, 2013
See? Offend the anti-Israel mob, and you’re automatically accused of being a “neoconservative,” even if you’re a card-carrying liberal like Rosie Gray or Eric Alterman. It’s almost a joke.
@RosieGray Please join us at the next Elders of Zion meeting. Wait till you taste the matzah.

You know things have gotten weird when I'm RT'ing @Eric_Alterman.

There are layers of irony here, but fanatics don’t get irony or sarcasm, and my remark about the strange ad hoc coalition against the Blumenthal book sailed right over Max’s dimwitted head:
Am I confused or is this a barely concealed call for violence against me by @rosiegray defender @rsmccain? pic.twitter.com/cwKSMtUQoA
— Max Blumenthal (@MaxBlumenthal) November 10, 2013
Short answer: Yes, you are confused, Max. And also, evil.
In case anyone missed the point, the “werewolf” in my analogy referred to Eric Alterman, a detestable leftist about whom I have never had a good word to say. But there is a microscopic subset of Leftists More Loathsome Than Eric Alterman, and it includes Max Blumenthal.
You may ask: Is there anyone worse than Max Blumenthal?
Yes, and the vile little creep is suing me for $1 million.
