This week Rule 5 Sunday pays homage to one of the greatest artists in the comic book field today, a man who knows what the people want and gives it to them good and hard. Ladies and gentlemen, the creator of Liberty Meadows, Frank Cho! Of course, Frank’s talent for drawing beautiful heroines dressed to show it off offends a huge number of humorless wretches, so to appease the complainers, Frank drew Spider-Gwen.

Did I say “appease”? I mean “aggravate”!

Not content with the screams of outrage from that , Frank proceeded to use Spider-Gwen to comment on other sketches of other superheroines…

Power Girl apparently can’t handle her ice cream.

Animal Magnetism leads off this week with some hunting season Rule 5: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, and Day 5. Goodstuff’s MegaBlog this week features Marina Sirtis, “aptly named after a place you can park your motorboat”. Indeed. Also, science with Selena Gomez! Cho draws amazing women, for sure. As to his current ‘offensiveness,’ well, I’m enjoying him for other reasons, right now. That is, Cho is an inveterate leftist. After the 2014 election, he went apeshit on Facebook — as I recall, he spent several paragraphs calling America insane, ranting over the onslaught of the racist, sexist, bigoted republicans, and so on and so forth.

So, I’m enjoying, if you will, watching the vipers fang themselves.

Robert Crumb’s work is for adults only, politically incorrect and a lot about himself, but simultaneously about how social norms can lead to oppression of human sexuality and the, in this case, dire consequences and taboos that lies therein.

Yeah, and frankly, even he hadn’t gone full retard on election day, I’d never have known, nor cared. Same with Dean Yeagle (cartoonist, draws ‘Mandy’). He flipped out on election day, too.
