Scenes from a Wedding

SANFORD, N.C.
As promised earlier, here are a few photos from Sunday’s wedding of my son Bob and his lovely bride, taken by my brother Kirby McCain.

Here comes the bride!

The bride is escorted down the aisle by her parents.

Our two daughters-in-law with our two daughters.

There will be more photos later, but right now we have to pack out of this hotel and go help clean up the venue. Thanks to readers who chipped in to help fund this occasion, and to those who haven’t chipped in yet, remember the Five Most Important Words in the English Language:

HIT THE FREAKING TIP JAR!

  1. Well, your boy is really gone now. Judging from the arm, it seems Army Bob has really gone Army.

Congratulations to the couple. May it be long and happy!

  2. Bob and Johanna make a lovely couple. Best wishes to them.

There is a question at hand, though, and that is: wha…wha…what happened to Reagan? She appears quite different in this picture than in the last one you posted, sir. And if we’ve learned anything from gender studies professors and Judith Butler’s hobbit people, it’s that there is no such thing as biology. All I can figure is that there’s some kind of invasion of the body snatchers thing going on or something. Medical science apparently has no answers for us.

  3. Would’ve been funny if you’d crashed the wedding. Even better if you’d looked anything like your profile picture.

  4. Lovely couple! If they would like some post honeymoon shots let me know I will be on the house!
