Wedding Day

My 21-year-old daughter, Kennedy Catherine McCain, is getting married at 10 a.m. today to Martin, which means that my attempts to bribe the couple into eloping have failed.

When I saw this headline, I misunderstood for a second and thought the judge had ruled weddings unconstitutional but . . .

Several months ago, I remember being told that this would be what is called a “small” wedding. For reasons that have not been adequately explained, we have only an estimate of the number of guests who have RSVP’d, but it’s somewhere between 130 and 197. And they must be fed.

As you might guess, I won’t be blogging much today. More on the happy occasion here.
