A Quick Search On ‘Waxman’ In
‘Throw Them All Out’ Turned Up Nothing

Still in the first chapter of Throw Them All Out on the Kindle. No mention of Waxman for a text search or in the index. Yet this piece in CNSNews makes you wonder if he’s scoring bank or just a kool-aid quaffer:

Representative Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said that Department of Energy subsidies, such as the the failed $535-million loan guarantee to solar company Sloyndra, were “saving” people from “fires, droughts and floods” that are caused by global warming.
“I want to put this in perspective Dr. Chu,” Waxman told Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Thursday at a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing on the Solyndra failure. “You’ve been trying to move our nation toward a clean energy economy. And that’s essential to protect American families from fires and droughts and floods and other extreme weather that climate change will bring.”

Maybe with eight years in, he’s not getting cut into the really good deals like my Congresstool, ‘Gentleman’ Jim Moran. Or, the honest people of Waxman’s district aren’t looking hard enough at the record to locate the graft.

What a fascinating contrast: the revelations of Congressmen doing things that may not be strictly illegal, but certainly shall not pass the smell test, while simultaneously blowing off the basic job of running the country’s budget, as exemplified by the Stupor Committee. Don’t even bother with anger, people. Instead, harden the resolve to get involved and deliver an anti-incumbent tsunami next November that will make 2010 seem a mere pump-priming.

Henry Waxman looks like an evil elf. Hmmm… I may have to Photoshop that one.

It’s the nose and the nostrils.

Frankly the first time I saw a picture of him I thought it -was- a photoshop.  Freaky.

Interesting information that will be a Blog post in 2012: Rep. Waxman lives in Rep. Schiff’s district and has not been seen on Wilshire Blvd for years.   he is forcing every Democrat out of the race for his old district.  Berman and Sherman (both D’s in the Valley) are fighting each other, but the first candidate to call out Waxman’s abscence has my vote.

Waxman will always show up in Beverly Hills (or the Westside) at a Fundraiser.  But never on Wilshire and never walking.  There are many empty storefronts on Wilshire to show how well Waxman is supporting his dictrict.

    To be continued…..

Waxman isn’t “eight years in” at all – that’s just in the 30th District after redistricting from the 2000 Census, he used to be in the 29th.  He’s been there over 35 years now.

Due to his age, now 62, he is probably receiving good investment advice and moving into more solid and stable investments like bonds and out of equities, so he may not have many transactions in stocks the last several years.  He’s filthy rich, though.

Wilshire sounds like a good backdrop for Christy Waters’ project.

I’ve been voting against him for 20 years.  He’s still my congressman.
