Virginia Democrat Won’t Answer Questions About His Sleepover With Teen

If you’re an unmarried politician who gets caught with a 17-year-old girl spending the night at your house, you’d better have a plausible excuse ready when reporters ask you about the police investigation, or else you’re instantly guilty in court of public opinion:

Of course, Joe Morrissey is a Democrat, and voters who elect Democrats obviously don’t care if they’re putting perverts in office — at least as long as the perverts don’t get caught:

Why would a 17-year-old girl’s father be concerned about her spending the night at Morrissey’s house? Perhaps because the 56-year-old Democrat seems somewhat notorious as a sexually adventurous bachelor. He has never married, but Morrissey has admitted fathering three children out of wedlock.

But this isn’t really a “scandal.” Unless Joe Morrissey goes to prison, Democrats will keep electing him, and even if he did go to prison, Democrats would just vote for some other criminal pervert.
