MUGSHOTS: Jack ‘Ziz’ LaSota, Michelle ‘Jamie’ Zajko, Daniel ‘Hastur’ Blank

Jack Amadeus LaSota, Inmate #57555

Michelle Jacqueline Zajko, Inmate #57552

Daniel Arthur Blank, Inmate #57553
All three suspects are currently inmates of the Allegany County Detention Center in Cumberland, Maryland, after being arrested Sunday by Maryland State Trooper Brandon Jeffries on charges that included trespassing, unlawful possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct and other misdemeanors. LaSota, known as “Ziz,” is the leader of what the Associated Press has politely called a “cultlike group,” of which Zajko and Blank are members — allegedly, I hasten to add, for the sake of libel law.
No fewer than six people have been killed in connection to this “cultlike group,” with the victims including two cult members, as well as the parents of Zajko and a U.S. Border Patrol agent. The fact that these radical vegan cultists were arrested about an hour’s drive away from my house led my brother to jokingly suggest that they were on their way to kill me, so I’m grateful to Trooper Jeffries for apprehending them.
Anyway, they’ll be in District Court in Cumberland on Tuesday morning, and I plan to be there. Meanwhile . . .
Ann Coulter interviewed Andy Ngo, who was way ahead of the mainstream media in covering the story of the “Zizian” cult, and deserves full credit for his work, which I have used extensively, as have a lot of other media types who won’t acknowledge the debt they owe to Andy. He’s persona non grata to the mainstream media.
Speaking of acknowledging sources, a lot of credit goes to Jessica Taylor, who was personally acquainted with LaSota, and also acquainted with Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt, who died in the January 20 shootout with the Border Patrol agent in Vermont. The fact that Taylor is willing to talk to any reporter interested in the story (including Andy Ngo and me) is remarkable, given the existing climate of political division.
On the Kiwi Farms thread (which is AWESOME, by the way), the poster says, basically, Ziz got into the "rationalist" community as an alternative to, y'know, actually WORKING for a living. And I think that sums up a basic issue.

Yeah, shout-out to the Kiwi Farmers. Say what you want about them, but they can be a valuable resource on a crazy story like this.
