I have no idea if this is objectively true or not, but I’ve been thinking I would have to convert to libertarianism from Catholicism AND click his Amazon links. I can do the latter, but Jesus is just too awesome to leave for Instapundit.

Plan B is to leave a shocking comment here in the hope that this post will be linked by Instapundit allowing me to get the table scraps. Plan B…initiated.

I did not know that libertarianism and Catholicism were incompatible. Learn something new every day.

All forms of man-made government are imperfect. Libertarianism is very bad when it’s your religion, so in that context, yes, libertarianism is completely incompatible with Catholicism. Ayn Rand is out of the question completely.

What’s this “mobile theme” horseshit, and how do I turn it off?

Just a guess, but maybe it’s the ones the Professor finds interesting at the time?  He does make changes from time to time.

Just another guess, but I doubt whining and complaining about it will help.

You need to learn the ‘Libertarians’ in the closet for Romney not-so-secret handshake first.

Instapundit gave me about six or seven Instalanches when I first got started.  Then I think I overwhelmed him with my constant emails.  So I have nothing but good things to say about Glenn.  Even if I am not on his blog roll (or even TOM…sob).

But yes, I am sure doing your Amazon shopping at his site is appreciated.  As it is here.

Of course GVL has been on the Mr. Inevitable’ bandwagon for quite some time, so there might be a little more to it than that.

Maybe it’s the neo- conservative, ex-hippie, yet still hipster ( but only in the passed tense sort of way) thing he’s perpetually got going on.

Ayn Rand is an Objectivist, which is, shall we say, an extreme version of libertarianism. As a political philosophy, though, I find libertarianism quite compatible with Falangism. 😉

We have a mobile theme? Who knew?
Seriously, you might want to try clearing you cache and reloading the site. Make sure the URL is just theothermccain.com

I think the Blogfather is more of a transhumanist postmodern hipster these days – he’s evolved out of the douchiness and into a new level of cool. I’m not sure if it’s the puppy smoothies or the hot cyborg lovin’.

Heck, I’m not a blogger and even I’ve been mentioned twice in an Instapundit post. LOL.

If it were easy to get Instapundit’s notice, it wouldn’t be worth getting.

     Mr. Patrick wins; thread over.
