Deranged Stalker Deborah Frisch Is Out of Prison, But for How Much Longer?

Deborah Frisch, circa 2018

More than two decades have elapsed since Deborah Frisch, Ph.D., lost her position as a psychology instructor at the University of Arizona because of her harassment of “Protein Wisdom” blogger Jeff Goldstein. Rather than move on with her life, instead Frisch became obsessed with Goldstein and harassed him so persistently that finally, in 2018, she was sentenced to prison in Colorado. Frisch was released from prison in July 2025 and we all waited to see how long it would take her to relapse into her criminal habits and earn herself a return trip to prison.

Call it a hunch, but I don’t think it will be much longer.

What she has done on X is to show up in the replies to other people’s tweets posting vile stuff like that. She has also created a sockpuppet account, named for one of the three children strangled by Lindsay Clancy, and uses that account for similar purposes. The repetitive use of gross obscenity and sexual insults is symptomatic of brain damage, likely the result of chronic alcoholism and other substance abuse. Normal adults do not engage in that kind of potty-mouth behavior, and yet here is Frisch — who, I remind you, has a Ph.D. in psychology — acting like a schoolboy who just discovered a new dirty word. And she can’t help herself.

This behavior is compulsive with her. Despite having previously served time in prison for her stalking behavior, Frisch goes right back to it. Not only does she show callous disregard for the emotional harm inflicted on her chosen “enemies” (as she conceives those she has unjustly targeted for this vicious harassment) but she also has no regard for her own well-being and safety. Her criminal activity is a form of self-harm, comparable to “suicide by cop,” basically daring others to file charges against her.

As obnoxious as her online harassment may be, I am also aware of accusations that Frisch has recently engaged in stalking behavior in real life in Oregon. While I am not at liberty to share details of this situation, I have privately advised Frisch’s targets to exercise their Second Amendment rights. If she persists in menacing law-abiding citizens, Frisch may find herself confronted by deadly force.

The police in Oregon, who should be well aware of Frisch’s criminal record, need to stop ignoring the complaints about her behavior, or else they could eventually find themselves dealing with a homicide investigation, accompanied by headlines about their prior refusal to intervene. Like I keep telling people: Crazy People Are Dangerous.

Big Trouble in Cracker Paradise

Just a few years ago, Portland, Oregon, was seen as a sort of progressive utopia, and it’s not really a secret why this was so: Portland is the whitest major city in America. Progressives like to talk about “diversity,” but they prefer to admire it from a comfortable distance, you understand.

So you had a lot of white hipsters moving to Portland, which gives them the desirable urban environment without having to deal with large numbers of brown people. Hypocrisy much? Anyway . . .

To say that Portland’s politics leans left is an understatement — Multnomah County gave 79% of its vote to Joe Biden in 2020, and it would have been higher were it not for the fact that about 3% voted for fringe left-wing candidates. The relationship between the whiteness of Portland and the left-wing politics of Portland is not merely coincidental. It is easier to believe socialism “works” in an ethnically homogenous polity (which is why socialism was so popular in places like Sweden). Once “diversity” enters the picture, however, people become suspicious that some groups are benefiting more than others from the collectivist redistribution racket, and the result — in America, at least — is what I’ve called “Missippification.” Pondering state-by-state results and exit-poll data after the 2000 election (Bush v. Gore), I noticed that Mississippi had both (a) one of the highest percentages of black population in the country and (b) the highest percentage of white people voting Republican, rivaled only by South Carolina. The more black people, the more white people vote Republican — this is the factor I call “MIssippification.”

Portland proves this principle in reverse — a predominately white city populated by the kind of left-wing kooks who like Bernie Sanders, but think he’s perhaps too “mainstream” for their taste. It’s no surprise that Portland is a hotbed of “Antifa” radicalism, just like it’s no surprise that Portland has a significant homelessness problem:

An Oregon family armed with fire extinguishers had to repeatedly save their home from fires after homeless squatters set a next-door house ablaze twice in one day.
Jacob Adams said he jumped into action as flames from both infernos threatened to leap over to their Portland property in the latest in a string of terrifying experiences since squatters took over the neighboring structure five years earlier.
“There are fires that have been happening off and on. Major ones. This recent one actually came and set our property on fire,” Adams told Fox 12.
“Within 12 hours of that fire, another fire popped up. My wife was screaming, and propane tanks were igniting off from the fire.” . . .
Portland has been dealing with a long-lasting homeless problem. There are over 6,600 homeless people in Portland across more than 700 encampments.
Although the city’s Mayor Ted Wheeler announced in October [2022] plans to ban the camps, the tent cities have largely remained undisturbed by city officials, including police.
The lax enforcement has allowed squatters to take over homes like the one next door to Adams, despite being served multiple eviction notices.
Over the past five years, Adams said he’s reported multiple thefts — including one culprit he caught stalking off their property with their firewood — drug usage and physical fights inside the rapidly deteriorating home, but to no avail.

See how this works? The leftist politics of Portland encourages and empowers the white trash segment of the population, so drug-addled misfits take over vacant homes and terrorize the neighbors.

What? Did I say “drug-addled misfits”?

City officials in the Democratic-run Utopia that is Portland, Oregon, have declared a state of emergency for the downtown area in a desperate bid to address the ongoing fentanyl crisis.

“Our country and our state have never seen a drug this deadly and addictive, and all are grappling with how to respond,” Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek said in a statement.
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is between 50 and 100 times more potent than morphine, and is a main driver of the United States’ ongoing opioid epidemic.
According to the Oregon Health Authority, the state experienced more opioid overdose visits to emergency departments and urgent care centers last year compared to previous years, while the Portland Police Department’s Bureau of Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit saw a 75% increase in notifications of overdose deaths in 2023 over a year prior.

As a reminder, Oregon became the first state in the country to decriminalize the possession of all drugs, including heroin and cocaine, in 2020.
They chose…poorly. . . .

Opioid deaths in Oregon more than tripled from 280, before the de-criminalization of drugs was voted in, to 955 in 2022.

Welcome to Cracker Paradise. Just try to ignore the dead junkies.

Portland Is Now a ‘No-Go Zone’

Antifa rioters in Portland, 2018

“Progressives” ruin everything:

When Antifa besieged downtown in 2020, resulting in months of rioting and millions in property damage, President Trump offered to send in the National Guard. City hall refused the help, and vilified Trump instead. A Trump fan wearing an insignia was murdered by a rabble rouser who laid in wait at a parking garage. The killer was later gunned-down by federal agents in a Washington State apartment complex parking lot.
Downtown hasn’t recovered. Businesses are still fleeing. Slabs of plywood cover many street-level windows. Intractable homelessness besotting block after block and open-air shooting galleries have turned Portland into a no-go zone for thousands of locals and decimated the tourist and convention trade. The pandemic played a part in creating the current malaise, but that’s over, and there’s been little discernible bounce-back.

(Hat-tip: Stephen Green at Instapundit.) There are two points that need to be made here. First of all, what part did the COVID-19 pandemic play “in creating the current malaise” in Portland. The answer is that, like most other major cities in Democrat-controlled states, Portland sought to impose maximum lockdown conditions — schools, businesses, etc. — and to keep these draconian policies in place as long as possible. It was not the pandemic, per se, that caused this damage, but rather the punitive job-killing policies enacted by Democrats in the guise of “public health.” And part of those anti-business/anti-freedom policies, of course, involved paying people not to work. If you wonder why all those smelly Antifa morons had so much free time to engage in “mostly peaceful” rioting in the summer of 2020, it’s because they were collecting extra unemployment benefits justified as “pandemic relief.”

Nobody wants to talk about this, for some reason. Like, how is it that there was such a dramatic spike in gun violence and drug overdoses in the wake of the pandemic? Oh, it was free money — i.e., “pandemic relief” payments — that many of the recipients used to buy guns and/or drugs. And don’t even bother to notice who it is that’s getting indicted on charges of fraud for illegally swindling “pandemic relief” programs to the tune of billions of dollars. (Hint: Probably not Trump voters.) When the government is giving away “free money,” it is generally not the most honest and productive members of society who benefit.

Laziness and stupidity are bad enough in their own right; but government-subsidized laziness and stupidity are much worse.

The second point, however, involves something that Andy Ngo pointed out about Portland in an interview with City Journal:

I say that Portland is a city where victimhood ideology is mainstreamed and is normalized, and it flows through the ethos and hearts and minds of the denizens here. So I’ve lived in Portland most of my life and it’s a progressive bubble. . . .
[T]hen the other dimension to it is demography as well, which I don’t hear people talk about as much. So Portland is a majority white city and I think I’ve heard it dubbed as one of America’s whitest cities for the size that it is. So with these two factors together, it creates this element of this extreme white guilt, I would say. I’ve witnessed it a lot and it makes the city vulnerable to radical leftist movements that try to exploit white guilt for their own political gain and I think that’s my analysis for why we’ve seen the leadership of the city kind of take a hands-off approach when it comes to political violence from the far left. Because there’s probably certain, perhaps, sympathies as well as a critical mass of constituents who are supportive of these groups.

Hit the nail on the head there, I’d say. Often, when I discuss the problems of crime, drugs, welfare dependency and the general breakdown of civilized norms, readers may think I’m engaging in racism — “RAAAAACISM!” — as if white people are immune to such problems. But go somewhere like Portland, which is certainly “one of America’s whitest cities,” and there are plenty of Caucasians living la vida ghetto.

Progressivism incentivizes “victimhood ideology” — which is to say, it encourages self-pity and envy — no matter the racial composition of the populace. This is why you find so many aggrieved radicals among the students at “elite” private universities. Students at Harvard, Yale, etc., aren’t rioting because they’re oppressed; they’re rioting because they’re privileged, and because their “progressive” faculty teach them that being an angry victim is heroic. Meanwhile, other people’s kids — the ones who are actually working for a living — don’t have time to riot.

You should buy Andy Ngo’s book, Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy, and remember I get a commission on Amazon sales, because capitalism is a beautiful thing.

Who Hates Cops?

Dakota Kurtis Means

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power?”
— Romans 13: 1-3 (KJV)

When the Apostle Paul wrote his epistle to the early Christian church in Rome, the entirety of the Mediterranean world was under the yoke of the Roman empire, specifically under Nero, who was about to embark upon a persecution of which Paul himself would become a victim. Thus his admonition to be subject to “the powers that be,” as ordained by God, must be contemplated quite seriously. Even if we are ourselves subjected to wrongful persecution, Christians have a duty to emulate Jesus in complying with governing authority. And if this is our duty as Christians, what are we to conclude about cop-haters like Dakota Means?

A Portland rioter who was previously given probation for assaulting a federal contract worker was given 12.5 years in jail for killing his 3-month-old infant child.
Dakota Kurtis Means, 23, was given the sentence after pleading guilty to one count of first-degree manslaughter and one count of first-degree criminal mistreatment, according to Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt.
Means, who had previously been sentenced to time served and given probation after pleading guilty to threatening a federal officer, was found responsible for the death of Hunter Means, his young child, in April 2021, just months after he was released in January 2021 for his other crime. . . .
Prosecutors said that Means violently shook his son, resulting in the young child hitting his skull on something causing brain trauma. . . .
During the investigation, Hunter’s mother said that Means treated her “like an animal” and had been “really physically violent” to her. . . .
Means intimidated a federal contractor with a paintball gun outside the Mark O. Hatfield United State Courthouse in Portland in August 2020 and spent 60 days behind bars before being sentenced and let out on probation.
During the incident he brandished a paintball gun, cursing at the contractor and saying that it was “going to be an AR” next time.

Among other things, I’m reminded of the fact that, when Kyle Rittenhouse was defending himself against the BLM/Antifa rioters in Kenosha, all three of the people he shot had criminal records. Coincidence? I don’t think so. The kind of people most likely to participate in anti-police riots are bad people. This goes back to what I began saying after my first-hand encounter with an angry mob of “Occupy” protesters in 2011: Bad causes attract bad people.

Even if a decent law-abiding citizen were sympathetic to the left-wing causes espoused by such people, one look at that crowd of ne’er-do-wells would suffice to convince you to avoid associating with them.

They are bad people with bad motives, and nothing good is likely to happen to anyone who associates with them. Stay away from such trash, and let “the powers that be” deal with them.

Another Loser With a ‘Manifesto’

Say hello to Ethan Miller, 20, of Bend, Oregon, and while you’re at it, go ahead and say good-bye, because he died of a self-inflicted gunshot after shooting up a Safeway supermarket Sunday. He shot four people, two of whom died, after posting a 56-page “manifesto.” Miller ranted about “the government, COVID lockdowns, technology, and women, [and] said in the rambling, oddly punctuated screed that he had an insatiable compulsion to kill”:

“I can’t wait to just send a Bullet into someone’s Brain,” Miller wrote in the first entry, on July 29. “This is going to be the Bloodiest and Most Gruesome Massacre in the History of Massacres! I want Blood, Guts, Brain Matter, and Pieces of Skull & Flesh to Paint the Walls and Floors. Then I wanna End my Life Here in the Most Violent Way Possible. By Eating the Barrel of My Shotgun then Blowing my Head Off & Evacuating my Brain with Buckshot.”

Two dead and two wounded? Definitely not “the Bloodiest and Most Gruesome Massacre in the History of Massacres,” and I’m sure we’ll get an explanation from police for why Miller’s massacre plan was even worse than his prose style. It appears he originally planned to attack a local high school on Sept. 8, but became impatient and attacked the Safeway instead. He was an unpopular creep in high school:

Akela Haverlandt, 21, lived a few houses away from Miller and attended Mountainview High with him. She graduated in 2019, a year before Miller did, but the two had a number of classes together, she said in a phone interview from Florida, where she now resides.
“He would get in tons and tons of fights at school,” Haverlandt told The Daily Beast on Monday. “I think he had this sort of rage. I mean, he was just super aggressive.”
Miller “wasn’t really liked” by others, and didn’t have very many friends, according to Haverlandt.
“People thought he was weird, or rude, or just creepy toward the girls,” she said. “… He would always message me and my friends saying, like, you’re so pretty… Kind of like a weird type of harassment situation. And he would message us and bother the shit out of us.”
One of Miller’s few friends at Mountainview High was a varsity athlete that Haverlandt dated for three years, she said. The former jock, Keenan Harpole, was arrested and charged in April with murder in the shooting death of a 19-year-old woman at Portland State University, where he was matriculating.
When Haverlandt first read Miller’s manifesto on Sunday, which has now been taken offline, she said she found it so disturbing she couldn’t sleep all night. Still, Haverlandt said it came as little surprise that Miller, of all people, would be IDed as the shooter.
“To read [it] was super crazy, but also like, ‘Wow, makes sense,’” she continued. “I wouldn’t think of anybody else in my grade or in that school that… would do that. He was so recognized for being violent, and constantly fighting with kids, and just causing problems.”

There was “little surprise” he was the shooter, because he was “recognized for being violent,” and yet nobody warned anybody.

How Do Democrats Get Away With It?

You have probably never heard of Terry Bean, but the multi-millionaire Oregon real-estate developer has been commonly described as a “gay rights pioneer,” a co-founder of the Human Rights Campaign, and often credited with pushing through the state “equality” law under which Oregon bakers were compelled to bake cakes for gay weddings:

Terry Bean has been a lifelong Democrat and has considerable influence in the party as a member of the Democratic National Committee since at least 2009. Among his contributions are his fundraising for Bill Clinton, serving on the DNC’s Convention Committee in 2000, serving as a co-chair of Howard Dean’s 2004 National Finance Committee, and being the first LGBT member of Barack Obama’s National Finance Committee. . . .
On November 19, 2014, Terry Bean was arrested on charges of sodomy and sex abuse in a case involving a 15-year-old boy, in what Bean’s lawyer Kristen Winemiller characterized as an extortion attempt by an ex-lover. Law enforcement sources said Bean was charged with “two counts of sodomy in the third degree, a felony, and sex abuse in the third degree, a misdemeanor.” He was arraigned in Lane County, Oregon, where the crimes allegedly occurred in 2013.
After the case continued for over a year, lawyers for Bean and the youth reached a civil agreement, which the judge ultimately rejected. The alleged victim declined to testify, his attorney Lori Deveny stating that “he did not seek out this prosecution and made his unwillingness to testify known at every step of the process”. The judge dismissed the case on September 1, 2015 without prejudice. In a statement, Bean wrote “I take some measure of comfort that the world now knows what I have always known – that I was falsely accused and completely innocent of every accusation that was made.” On January 4, 2019, Bean was re-indicted on the same charges. In March 2019, the alleged victim filed a civil lawsuit against Bean. In September 2019, Bean’s former partner was found guilty of third-degree sodomy and third-degree sexual abuse, which The Oregonian reported as “a blow” to Bean’s claims of innocence.

Now, I had not followed this case and am unfamiliar with the details, but a few facts seem self-evident here: First, that in 2013 a 15-year-old boy was the victim of sexual abuse, a crime for which “Bean’s former partner” was convicted. So this is not, as some in the media may describe it, “alleged abuse” — the abuse actually happened, as demonstrated by the conviction of Bean’s ex-partner. The only matter in dispute is Bean’s role in this crime, and the fact that “lawyers for Bean and the youth reached a civil agreement” could be interpreted as evidence that Bean was not wholly innocent. Furthermore, at the time this crime occurred, Bean was 65 and his partner Kiah Loy Lawson was 24. Would you say that a man having a partner more than 40 years his junior could be presumed to have, shall we say, an appetite for young flesh?

But who are we to judge, eh? Who can say what trouble we might get into if we were multimillionaires? The hypotheticals are perhaps limitless, so we ought to be grateful for our relative poverty, but leaving aside (possibly criminal) fantasies, now let us consider the reality:

The trial dropped bombshell after bombshell allegation: a Grindr app meeting, adult men engaging in sex acts with a 15-year-old boy, a scorned ex-boyfriend, a purported extortion plot against a well-known Portland gay activist and disavowals that any crimes occurred.
But a Lane County Circuit Court jury sorted through the messy details and took only two hours Friday to return a guilty verdict against Kiah Loy Lawson on two counts of third-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sexual abuse.
The verdict is a blow to Lawson’s co-defendant and former boyfriend, Terry Bean — the Portland real estate developer, civil rights trailblazer and Democratic fundraiser. Bean, 71, faces trial in two months on the same charges.
Both men were accused of picking up the 15-year-old boy in Bean’s Mercedes S500 from a 7-Eleven in Eugene in September 2013 after meeting him via Grindr, an online dating app for gay men.
Police and prosecutors alleged the men drove the teenager to a Eugene motel room, sexually abused him, showered with him and then sent him home in a cab after Bean gave him $40 for his fare. At the time, Lawson was 24 and Bean was 65.
During the three-day trial, Lawson testified that he and Bean picked up the boy, but said they promptly dropped him off after learning he wasn’t 18, as he had claimed on the app. Neither of them engaged in any sex acts with the boy, Lawson said.
But Lawson conceded that he is the reason Portland police started investigating both Bean and him.
He testified that he was upset with the way Bean had treated him after their relationship ended badly. Bean had refused to give him a $40,000 payout that had been negotiated between their lawyers after Bean secretly video-recorded him in the bedroom and bathroom, Lawson said.
So in July 2014 he said he went to police with a made-up story about Bean — telling Portland Detective Jeff Myers that Bean had engaged in sex acts with the boy in the motel room.
But after Myers tracked down and interviewed the teenager, Lawson also was charged with the same crimes.
“It’s ironic how everything has essentially flipped on me,” Lawson told jurors.
Lawson described how he felt controlled and taken advantage of by Bean. He said Bean had lavished attention on him. Bean ultimately put up Lawson in his Hayden Island condo and told the younger man to quit his job because Bean would pay him a “salary,” Lawson said.
“He provided me with a lot of money, perks, travel, shopping — everything I needed and wanted, really,” Lawson said. But Bean had stipulations, too, such as he didn’t want Lawson to have a cellphone, Lawson said.
Lawson said after three to four months of dating, he felt as if Bean was using him to lure men to have sex. Lawson said he watched as Bean wooed his conquests, sometimes paying “younger people” a couple of hundred dollars to have sex.
“He would tell me how he liked younger guys,”
Lawson said. “Also, he told me about a couple of times he had paid off younger people who were underage, just not to say things.”
“At first I felt special,” Lawson said. “… I thought I had it good. But then I realized that’s how he treated everybody and that was how it was just his M.O. to sleep with younger people.”

You can read the rest of that 2019 story, but you get the point: It is beyond a reasonable doubt, according to an Oregon jury, that a 15-year-old boy got picked up via Grindr and was sexually abused. And while prosecutors convinced the jury that Lawson was a liar — insofar as his denial was not to be believed — his testimony about Terry Bean’s predilection for “younger people” as sex partners seems credible. Also, don’t miss this detail near the end of that 2019 article:

In late 2014, Bean and Lawson were originally charged with sex crimes against the teen. But in 2015 on the day their cases were scheduled to go to trial, the young man failed to show up. Police and prosecutors have alleged the teen hid out in a mountain cabin because Bean agreed to pay him a total of $220,000 as a reward for not testifying then.

Again, who are we to judge? What would you do for $220,000? Speaking for myself, I think I’d probably skip court and hide out in a mountain cabin, too. The lawyer accused of brokering that payoff was found in contempt of court and is reportedly the subject of a disbarment investigation, but what about Terry Bean?

The long-running criminal prosecution of Portland real estate investor and gay rights pioneer Terry Bean came to an abrupt end today [Friday, Jan. 14] when the state moved to dismiss sex abuse charges against him.
“After a judicial settlement conference on December 27, 2021, before the Hon. Jean Maurer, the alleged victim in this matter communicated to me unequivocally that he has relocated out of state, and he no longer wishes to participate in this pending prosecution,” Lane County deputy district attorney Erik Hasselman wrote in court filings today.
The case goes all the way back to a 2014 WW cover story that detailed Bean’s tangled personal life. At the time, Bean, co-founder of the Washington, D.C., Human Rights Campaign and one of the largest Oregon fundraisers for President Barack Obama and other Democratic politicians, had recently ended a relationship with a man named Kiah Lawson.
Lawson and Bean would both later be indicted for sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy in Eugene in 2013. Lawson was convicted of that crime in 2019 but, through a series of developments and delays, Bean’s trial was set for 2022. Now, that will not happen.
“On December 28, 2021, the alleged victim’s attorneys reiterated in writing that for a variety of personal reasons, the alleged victim wished this office to resolve the pending matters against the defendant without a conviction in the case at bar,” Hasselman wrote.
“Given the alleged victim is an adult, represented by counsel, and has clearly expressed a desire not to participate in the pending prosecutions of the defendant, the State respectfully requests this Honorable Court dismiss this pending Indictment, in the interests of justice.”

Oh, it’s “in the interests of justice,” and the victim has “a variety of personal reasons” ($$$$) for wanting the state to drop the case against the multimillionaire Democratic Party fundraiser. What a coincidence!

Meanwhile, there must be thousands of guys in Oregon serving time in prison, or out on parole and permanently on the sex offender registry, for crimes no worse than those involved in this case, and the only difference is that those perverts are not multimillionaire Democrats.

The moral of the story is that $200,000 is now the going rate for teenage hookups with rich Democrats, who can never be convicted in Oregon.

UPDATE: Welcome, Instapundit readers!

Thank You, Officer Curtis Brown!

Tyler O’Neil has a story headlined, “Antifa Rioters’ Response to the Latest Police Shooting Shows Just How Racist They Are,” which amuses me endlessly. Police in Portland, Oregon, were called to a motel where a man was causing a disturbance. He charged at them with a screwdriver, and was shot dead by Officer Curtis Brown. The usual riot squad of radical Antifa trash showed up to protest — because “Black Lives Matter,” right? — only to learn that the dead man, Michael Ray Townsend, was white and that the cop who shot him was black. Oh, but wait! It gets even better! Townsend was a crazy meth addict with tattoos on his face:

Townsend had a documented history of mental illness. In 2018, Townsend was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for an unarmed bank robbery in Portland. Townsend claimed to have been having a psychotic episode at the time.
“Defendant’s mental illness and heavy use of methamphetamine apparently contributed to his decision to rob the bank,” Hannah Horsely, the Assistant United States Attorney who prosecuted the case, wrote in her sentencing memorandum at the time.
In December 2020, Townsend’s parole was revoked after he failed to participate in the mental health treatment program stipulated in the terms of his release.

If ever there was a cracker who needed to be shot by a cop, this was the guy — but wait! I know you think it couldn’t get better, but it does!

Officer Brown was already a hero. Remember the “Occupy” movement of 2011? Well, when police were finally dispatched to clean up the fetid mess of “Occupy Portland” in November 2011, the protesters got violent:

Brown was “engaged with a group of violent protesters,” [police Sgt. Pete] Simpson said, when someone tossed an improvised explosive device from the back of the crowd. It struck Brown in the leg and detonated a short distance away, police said.
Brown immediately fell to the ground and had to be pulled out of the melee by other officers. He underwent surgery to re-attach a large portion of his quadriceps.

They gave him an award in 2012. This guy hates smelly hippie scum, and he doesn’t seem to care much for crazy meth heads, either.

As I explained in February, “It’s always heartwarming news when cops shoot a white criminal. . . . Good-bye and good riddance, criminal scum.”

Shootings like this completely disrupt the liberal media narrative, and weeding out the dope-addled scum helps improve the breed, so I hope our readers in the law-enforcement community will spread the word: If you get a chance to shoot a white criminal, fire away.

UPDATE: Welcome, Instapundit readers! A commenter there expressed concern about my indifference to Michael Ray Townsend’s demise:

Somehow, having a white man advocate that if a police officer ever gets a chance to shoot a white criminal, go right ahead is not comforting, especially when it does not advise the same response to non-white criminals.
One of the strangest aspects of this summer’s anti-white racism push is that most of the pushing is being done by white people. Perhaps they hope the alligator will eat them last, but otherwise it is as hard to understand as when someone who appears Jewish verbally attacks Jews (the stereotypical self-hating Jew.) Apparently, there is now a self-hating white equivalent, quickly also becoming a stereotype.

Moi? A “self-hating white”? Somebody alert the SPLC to this! But meanwhile, I replied in the comments to explain my attitude:

This is the difference, you see. Cops shoot white criminals all the time, and yet you don’t see white mobs looting Foot Locker in response. If “white supremacy” actually means anything, shouldn’t it mean that white people are more law-abiding? Well, then, why would any white person give a shit because cops killed a worthless piece of trash like this meth head in Portland?

Please, somebody call this to the attention of SPLC Thought Police, as I’m sure they’ll find some sinister significance to this, but you see my point: If, as we are told, white people are automatically endowed with “privilege,” then what was Michael Ray Townsend’s excuse? He alone must bear the responsibility for his failures — meth addiction, mental illness, tattoos on face, etc. — because no self-respecting white person would consider him as representative of our race. But let some black guy get shot by the cops and, no matter what a dangerous scumbag the deceased suspect may have been, the black community will celebrate him as a heroic martyr. I don’t think that attitude reflects very well on the black community, but they haven’t solicited my advice.

Democrats Actively Support Riots

Ace’s summary is perfect:

She participated in a riot where firebombs were thrown at people — cops.
And she’s a tip-top ranking Democrat political staffer.
But the Democrats oppose the riots, right?

And now the news:

Police arrested a top Democratic staffer in Oregon’s state legislature this weekend for interfering with a police officer during the Portland riots.
The police arrested Kristina Narayan, who is legislative director for the top Democrat in Oregon’s House of Representatives, along with 58 others during a riot that began Saturday night and continued into Sunday morning, according to a Portland Police Bureau report. Narayan has worked for House Speaker Tina Kotek since 2016.
On Saturday, officers blocked a crowd marching toward the East Portland Community Policing Center. Police declared a riot after somebody in the crowd threw a firebomb toward officers, which set fire to a member of the community. The rioters continued to throw rocks, fireworks, and mortars toward the officers.
Nearly 150 calls to Portland police were left on hold Saturday night as the riot forced local police officers to abandon their patrol and help control the violence.

But CNN won’t notice this.
