Rhanni Davis Charged With Four Murders on Suburban Chicago Commuter Train
Posted on | September 4, 2024 | Comments Off on Rhanni Davis Charged With Four Murders on Suburban Chicago Commuter Train

Prosecutors have approved murder charges in connection with the shootings that left four people dead on a CTA train Monday morning. Rhanni Davis, 30, is expected to appear in court for a detention hearing on Wednesday.
In another development, officials have released new information about the victims and how they died. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, 60-year-old Adrian Collins was killed by a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Simeon Biheshi, 28, died from multiple gunshot wounds, the office said. Two victims were not identified by name: a 64-year-old woman who was shot in the head and a 52-year-old man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
At about 5:27 a.m. Monday, a CTA employee discovered three bodies on one train car after it reached the end of the line in Forest Park. A fourth victim was soon found in a separate car on the same train.
When police arrived, the shooter had already left. However, CTA security identified a suspect from the transit system’s surveillance footage. Based on a description provided by the CTA, Chicago cops arrested Davis at the California Pink Line station at 7 a.m. Monday. Officials said CPD recovered a firearm during the arrest.
Cook County court records list five criminal cases filed against Davis since 2012, all misdemeanors.
The most recent charge against was criminal trespass to a vehicle in Riverdale in November 2022. Prosecutors dropped the case two months later, but records show Davis did not appear for that hearing.
Davis faced charges of illegal firearm possession in the 3500 block of West 55th Street in February 2021. Prosecutors dropped that case in October 2021.
Records show Davis pleaded guilty in September 2020 to disorderly conduct after being arrested outside the former Bloomingdale’s Home & Furniture, 600 North Wabash, during the August 10 looting spree. Judge Robert Kuzas handed down a one-day sentence.
In May 2014, police arrested Davis in Boystown under the name James McDavis. After pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery, Davis successfully completed court supervision.
Evanston police arrested Davis for retail theft in October 2012, also under the name James McDavis. Records show Davis stopped appearing in court and the matter remained active until prosecutors dropped it following the Bloomingdale’s arrest in 2020.
Elsewhere in Chicago this past weekend:
At least five people were killed, and 26 others were hurt in Chicago shootings across the city during the Labor Day weekend, according to Chicago police.
The ages of the victims range from 16 to 58.
So, five shot to death in Chicago, and four more murdered on a commuter train and yet, for some reason, CNN didn’t give hourly coverage of these shootings, nor did President Biden issue a statement about the carnage. Murder in Chicago — or Baltimore, Detroit, Memphis, etc. — is routine, and regarded as strictly local news. In terms of covering crime, as in every other thing they do, the national media care only about politics, and doing what they can to help Democrats win elections. And they think we’re too stupid to notice what they’re doing.

Jews Are Dead, Hamas Is Happy, and Podhoretz Has Got His Rage On
Posted on | September 1, 2024 | Comments Off on Jews Are Dead, Hamas Is Happy, and Podhoretz Has Got His Rage On

For years, I’ve said it’s impossible to have peace negotiations with the Palestinians because, to the Palestinians, “peace” means dead Jews.
Insofar as “Palestinian” describes a national identity, the essence of that identity is killing Jews. That’s all they care about. As a people, collectively, the Palestinians are devoted to revenge — the complete destruction of Israel, and the death of every Jew — and this is why the past 30-plus years of “peace negotiatians” have been a waste of time.
Excuse my speaking so bluntly about this, but I don’t know how anyone paying attention for the last three decades can see it any other way. And the latest atrocity further confirms this reality:
The bodies of six hostages abducted alive by Hamas on October 7 were recovered from a tunnel in southern Gaza’s Rafah overnight, shortly after they were murdered by terrorists, the Israel Defense Forces announced Sunday.
The hostages were Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, Eden Yerushalmi, 24, Ori Danino, 25, Alex Lobanov, 32, Carmel Gat, 40, and Almog Sarusi, 27.
Goldberg-Polin, Yerushalmi, Lobanov, Sarusi and Danino (an off-duty noncommissioned officer) were abducted from the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im, while Gat was taken from Kibbutz Be’eri.
Their bodies were found with multiple gunshot wounds, Israel’s Health Ministry said, citing an examination carried out by Abu Kabir Forensic Institute.
The ministry said that the hostages were murdered between 48 and 72 hours before their autopsy, meaning between Thursday and Friday morning.
IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the six were “brutally murdered” by Hamas shortly before troops arrived — possibly only a day or two before they were found.
“According to an initial assessment… they were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists a short while before we reached them. They were abducted alive on the morning of October 7 by the Hamas terror group,” Hagari said in a press conference.
“Their bodies were found during the fighting in Rafah, in a tunnel, about a kilometer away from the tunnel from which we rescued Farhan al-Qadi a few days ago,” he said.
This was sadly predictable. Ever since last October, when dozens of hostages were kidnapped by the same Hamas terrorists who killed more than a thousand Israelis, I knew that the chances of any of the hostages surviving were practically non-existent, and any negotiations for their release were futile, because the raison d’être of Hamas is to kill Jews.
What kind of childish naïveté leads some people to think it’s possible to negotiate a ceasefire agreement with a gang of bloodthirsty killers, and they’ll just turn the hostages loose? And yet, even as I write these words, CNN is showing protesters in Israel who evidently believe this.
??? Huge Protest – Tel Aviv, Israel
Estimates of up to 300,000 people on the Israeli Capital’s Streets protesting the war on Gaza.
They are demanding a ceasefire now. pic.twitter.com/Xg84KSZL95

“Please, we want peace with the Jew-killers!” This is insane.
John Podhoretz certainly isn’t deceived by such delusions:
Had the Biden administration’s will not been bent and twisted in the months following the attack by the fiendish propaganda campaign causing them to worry about the war’s effect on Joe’s chances in Michigan—due to a population that effectively supported the terrorist monsters and cared not a whit for the eight Americans, let alone the 240 other innocents dragged into Hell—would Hersh and these others have survived? Imagine an Israel that had not found itself restrained and under assault, not told to pause, not scolded in pissy little phone calls with petulant American establishmentarians, without arms and aid held up, without being lectured about the geostrategic value of going slow or not going at all.
Imagine an Israel that was not told by its best friend in the world that offensive action in Gaza had become self-defeating, was not told that Israel should care more about feeding people in Gaza than about eliminating the threat to its 9 million citizens and pummelling Hamas until that evil group of thugs cried uncle and begged for way to negotiate to return the hostages.
Imagine an America that did not lose its nerve under a president whose team knew perfectly well he was infirm and was working desperately to stave off his eventual collapse and departure from the race to save their own rotten and misbegotten jobs.

A strange homestand this week at RFK: we got swept by the Yankees, in an 15-11 slugfest followed by two close 3-2 losses, but then the Twins came to town and our bats caught fire. The Twins were bludgeoned 10-2, 6-1, and 6-2, with even Don Stanhouse notching a win in his first start. Extraordinary! The Senators are 62-80, half a game ahead of the A’s, and there are other, worse teams in the league: the Dodgers are 42-100, the Cubs 54-88, KC 55-84, and the hapless O’s 56-86. There aren’t any teams with 100 wins yet, but the Yankees are close with 96.

Joe’s GarageCrazy People Are Dangerous
Posted on | September 1, 2024 | Comments Off on Crazy People Are Dangerous

Say hello to Corey Cobb-Bey and, while you’re at it, go ahead and say good-bye, because he died Thursday night in the proverbial hail of police gunfire after he murdered a Dallas cop and wounded two others.
Four months ago, I warned about this particular kind of craziness (see “The ‘Moorish Sovereign Citizen’ Menace,” April 30):
Preferring a bogus mythology over actual history is irrational, pointing toward deep-rooted psychiatric problems. Crazy ideas attract crazy people, making it difficult to unravel cause and effect. Does this “Moorish” nonsense make people crazy, or were they crazy to begin with? Probably it’s a little of both, but the bottom line is, by the time one of these imaginary “Moors” gets into a confrontation with law enforcement, there’s a risk of deadly violence, because Crazy People Are Dangerous.
Tracing the history of this “Moorish” stuff — the self-evidently false claim that black Americans are descended from Moroccans and therefore exempt from U.S. law because of some 18th-century treaty — is in some sense futile, because the people who fall for it are not going to be dissuaded by facts and logic (tools of the White Devil).
Headline from Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA-TV:
Father of suspected
Dallas police shooter said his son
had been acting strange recently
“Recently”? No, sir, your son had been acting strange for years, but maybe you weren’t paying attention. Trust me, I’ve skimmed through Corey’s Facebook page and this descent into madness is not recent.
Go watch that video and tell me, is he crazy or not? His new identity immediately led Corey Cobb to trouble with police:
In 2017, Cobb was charged with intentionally providing false information to the police.
Officers initially pulled him over for having an expired registration.
When police asked for his name, he told officers it was Coremour Bey.
According to documents, when the police asked for his birthdate, Cobb allegedly replied, “That is private information, you can find everything you need with just my name.”
Cobb was arrested for his traffic violations.
The surname “Bey” is apparently common in Morocco, and many “Moorish” black Americans incorporate it into their new identities, e.g., John Jones Bey of Indianapolis, who was arrested after a 2017 standoff with police, and Kyran Caples, a/k/a “Kmac El Bey,” who died in a shootout with deputies in Polk County, Florida, in April this year.
A fair amount of my journalistic career has been devoted to reporting about kooky extremists, on the theory that all really influential movements start out on the “fringe” of politics. That’s why, for example, I rode to Denver in a van full of Libertarian delegates to the 2008 convention that nominated Bob Barr for president. Longtime readers may recall when I was targeted in 2012 by “Anonymous” hackers because of my criticism of their pro-Hamas activism. Today’s fringe kooks may become tomorrow’s mainstream, so it’s important to pay attention to them, and I’ve got a track record of solid hunches on this stuff:
The maniac who killed three police in Baton Rouge and wounded three others was both racist and insane. Ranting against “crackers” on YouTube, talking about “revolution” and “my people” with the delusional grandiosity typical of a paranoid schizophrenic . . .
That was July 2016, and it was subsequently learned that “Gavin Eugene Long was deranged, daft, demented, cracked, zany, wacko, bonkers, off his rocker and a few fries short of a Happy Meal,” who had filed paperwork in 2015 “declaring himself Cosmo Ausar Setepenra, a ‘sovereign citizen’ of the United Washitaw De Dugdahmoundyah Mu’ur nation.” This group was founded in the 1990s by a Louisiana woman named Verdiacee Hampton Goston, a/k/a “Empress Verdiacee Tiari Washitaw Turner Goston El-Bey,” and is sort of a rogue splinter of the Moorish Science Temple of America. All of this may seem like a laughable absurdity to you, but the fact is that this “Moorish” insanity keeps resulting in cops being shot, as happened Thursday night in Dallas:

Dallas Police Officer Darron Burks
The Dallas Police Department provided an emotional update after Officer Darron Burks was shot and killed, saying that the former high school teacher was “executed” while in the line of duty.
In a press conference Friday, Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia said that the department had lost a “brother” and a “hero” following the shooting.
“As a department and as a family, we are devastated,” Garcia said. “Last night we lost a brother, a hero. Officer Darron Burks was a son, a nephew, a friend to many, and he was senselessly and tragically murdered in the line of duty.”
The shooting, which happened around 10 p.m. Thursday night near the Oak Cliff Community Center, killed Burks and wounded two other officers. The suspected gunman, identified as 30-year-old Corey Cobb-Bey, was killed in a shootout with police.
“We came close to losing other officers,” Garcia said. “Officers who put their lives on the line to protect their brother, and it is by the grace of God that they are still with us today.”
The chief of police said that the officers were “targeted” by Cobb-Bey.
“Our officers were targeted by nothing more than the uniforms that they wear and for the brave and honorable job that they do,” he said. “I want to be clear here, the word ambush has been thrown around in the last 24 hours. That is not what happened here. Officer Burks was executed.” . . .
“Cobb-Bey approached Burks and talked with him briefly at the driver’s side of the window as he recorded the encounter with a cellphone,” he said. “The suspect then pulled out a handgun and executed Officer Burks as he sat in his vehicle.”
Police said they got a 911 call about an officer in distress. Responding officers found Burks in his marked patrol vehicle critically injured.
At 10:11 p.m., Senior Corporal Jamie Farmer pulled into the parking lot after responding to a call for backup. Farmer was met with gunfire from Cobb-Bey. When Farmer returned fire, Cobb-Bey grabbed the shotgun and fired at Farmer, hitting him in the leg.
A minute later, Senior Corporal Karissa David arrived on the scene.
The Cobb-Bey ran toward David, shooting at her multiple times while she exited her vehicle.
David was shot in the face, according to police.
The officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect, and two additional officers were shot.
The suspect was shot and killed at the end of a high-speed police chase on Interstate 35 from Dallas to Lewisville.
All because of some lunatic “Moorish” bullshit and exactly what is being done about this? You can get banned from social media as an “election denier” for suggesting that Joe Biden didn’t get 81 million votes, and yet people are permitted to post all kinds of this “sovereign citizen” propaganda without consequences? When it can be demonstrated as a fact that this leads to deadly violence? People need to wake up.
