. . . does that make Bob Bennett a Magic Negro? I’m just asking, because the basic argument of Tea Party-bashers (like Charles Blow) can be summarized by the syllogism:
- The Tea Party movement is anti-Obama;
- Obama is black;
- Ergo, the Tea Party movement is racist.
Which means that Bob Bennett must be black, or else Charles Blow is full of crap. And if you think Charles Blow is full of crap, you’re obviously a racist.
