  3. The thing is that Deese and the SPLC have been exposed several times spanning decades. It has never seemed to affect their ability to raise money or grab headlines, although any actual accomplishments remain to be achieved.

    It was a great scam – started out as “exposing” and “warning” about KKK activities, long after the KKK had lost any real influence anywhere. Deese gave those isolated remnants he “found” the publicity they needed to attract like-minded fringe nuts, but Deese parlayed it into big bucks for SPLC.

    Amazing he has been able to keep the same con going so long – and retain the media respectability right along. Ya just gotta give a huckster who knows his marks so well his props.
