Glenn Wilson vs. the Mob

Posted on | September 6, 2010 | 21 Comments

I know nothing about Glenn Wilson, an independent candidate in Michigan’s 1st Congressional District, but he was certainly smart to get Ladd Ehlinger Jr. to produce this memorable campaign video:

Update (Smitty): Stacy, either my head ‘sploded, or Don Dino, up whose nose the viewer nearly crawls, is Evan Sayet, after whose Heritage talk two years and three lifetimes ago you hired me for this gig. (weeps)

Update II (Smitty):
Linked by Ed Driscoll and The Camp of the Saints: “Dons of the Dead”.

[…] Bushism and ‘Brand Damage’ Bush’s talk of “compassionate conservatism,” of being a bipartisan “uniter not a divider” who could bring about “a new tone in Washington,” turned out to be a roadmap for unprincipled compromises with liberalism. From the atavistic atrocity known as No Child Left Behind to the abomination of Medicare Part D to the wrongheaded TARP bailout of 2008, George W. Bush spent eight years telling Americans that enacting expensive Big Government measures was “conservative.” […]

The ad really is great, outlines exactly the problem with the system, but with wit and humor.

He’s running as an independent, but from what I’ve seen, he could go all the way and win in November.

This ad only points out what everyone knows is true. BOTH parties are controlled by the SPECIAL INTEREST and NOT the will of the American people.

As I travel across the district, everyone is telling me the same thing, “We want our PRIDE and HONOR restored.” Our American dream is being destroyed.

I will not sell out the American people to the corruption that is destroying our country.

Help me now. We the people MUST stand together and hold this seat in Congress for the people and not allow either party have it.

This election, the people will have a real choice of either allowing this country to be run by the parties, or have someone there for them. That is the real question everyone must anwser this election on Nov. 2nd.
