SWAC Girl Does Not Understand Hope’n'Change Economics

Now, SWAC Girl is a great blogger:

After voting for nearly $1 trillion in ‘stimulus’ spending, casting the deciding vote for $2 trillion in spending for ObamaCare, Mark Warner has finally realized that the federal government has a serious financial problem.

But it’s not enough of a problem for him to support a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Given the opportunity to put his apparent new-found concern for the nation’s fiscal state into action, Mark Warner punted.

But she hasn’t been briefed on the Lefty Underpants Gnome approach to dealing with political difficulties, apparently.

  1. Vote for financially unsustainable policies.
  2. ???
  3. Blame the Tea Parties.

Senator Warner is a sad little tool whose term cannot end quickly enough. I, for one, hope that he follows Senator Webb’s brave example and doesn’t bore us with a re-election campaign.

Senator Warner will be re-elected because NOVA is booming business and real estate-wise due to the growth of government; any fiscal responsibility means reducing the number of votes for him. Unless Eric Cantor runs against him, Virginia is lacking depth in both candidates and cash. Senator Warner can self-fund if necessary, and McDonnell, if supported by the TEA Party, won’t be supported by the RSCC and RNC.

DaveO, if that’s correct than the TEA Party needs to go it alone and let the GOP flounder for a few years or just die off all together.

    KingShamus,

You of baldi fame? I agree, having seen the execrable performance by establishmentarian Republicans ( i.e. pro-Castle, anti-TEA Party) leading and running the RNC and its various committees.

The Washington Metropolitan Area is doing better than most of the country, I don’t know if I’d call it booming.
Warner isn’t up for reelection until 2014, there are other fish to bludgeon to death in the meantime.
