Police say a man who robbed a business in north Houston is dead after apparently being run over by the person he robbed. Kenneth Kobobel Sr., a 72-year-old Marine veteran chased down his attacker in his car pinning him against a fence. The assailant attempted to shoot Mr. Kobobel, but his injuries from being hit by 4000 lbs of car ended his life before he was able to commit any additional crimes.

Althouse has been taking a lot of criticism here (some of it well deserved). But this clip is a gem. It fits in well with Smitty’s post and it also raises Stacy’s feminist bug-a-boo.
Personally I think this is the opposite of Rebecca Watson feminism (which is being a victim and whining about it). I love it.
Mr. Kobobel is a hero to me too. Thank God this took place in Texas, because in pussified New York or San Francisco he would probably be accused on not respecting the rights of the robber/assaulter (although they would have struggled with the gun thing for sure). In Texas I assume this is something to thank Mr. Kobobel for.
Dude shoulda just robbed a member of the Air Farce. Then he’d only have had to worry about a pedicure.
And if you are in Oregon (Smitty’s home state) watch out for Sexually excited tigers.
