Already Getting Pushed Around

Mrs. Other Smitty and I haven’t slept more than two hours in a row since the World’s Youngest Blogger arrived. This is not a complaint. We’re strangely exhilarated. He starts off at the top of the newborn range, and already thinks swaddling is some form of Socialism.
God bless all the readers and well-wishers, here and on Twitter. Also, go have more children, as opportunity presents. This is a blast.

The right kind of over population is a good thing.  More conservatives!  Lead on Smitty, lead on.

I also find making babies to be fun.

Although that cranky foreigner Steyn has to dump on the future!  How rude of him to speak the truth.  The good news is Bitty Smitty just had a credit card and line of credit approved for about $60,000.  The bad news is he is maxed out already.

You do know you won’t have a night’s sleep for the next 2 years?

If God had deemed it, I would have been like that woman on Discovery who has 19 or so.

Believe it it not, the first one is the hardest.  (And while it won’t work quite yet, giving them a bath before bedtime wears them right out. )

I wish baths had done that for mine.  She was born thinking sleep was an option.  Even though she’s a teenager now, she is a big-time night owl.

I wonder if you’re not mixing up words and you really mean “strangely delirious”.   He’s now the boss and you’d better obey.

3 days old?  Hey, well at least people can’t say he was “born yesterday”.

The opportunity does not present for me anymore.  But after 6 kids I feel I have done my part.  God bless you and your family on this sacred voyage.

Congratulations Smitty, he’ll be using a mouse within two years, I expect.  Don’t force him into Mavis Beacon until his fingers grow long enough.
