Sen. Schumer’s Deed Shall Live In Infamy

Chuck Schumer appears to have achieved a full metamorphosis: he may be the first Senator to have achieved the full odiousness of the British Parliament which the Founders opposed. From a Freedom Works email:

We observed all the rules. Senator Mike Lee reserved the room for us weeks in advance. Every “i” was dotted and every “t” crossed. But when Senate Democrats got word that we planned on doing their job for them … that we planned to suggest real cuts to the budget … well, that’s when they got scared and pulled the plug.

Tyranny!

I submit that every right-thinking blog should post this video, and increase the pressure on Congress. The Tea Party Budget is all about doing the job that Congress abdicated. Senator Schumer should be disciplined and ejected, so that his falsehood is no longer a drag on our government.

Chuck Schumer is a dick.  No wonder he was the mentor of Anthony Weiner.

Yes, Schumer is evil. Yes, kicking the meeting out of the room was a Total Dick Move.

But I don’t think he did it because “Democrats got scared.”

The thing will get more publicity now than it would have if he’d ignored the meeting.

He did it because he could, plain and simple.

    That is sadly true.

Word is the draconian cuts to the Pentagon budget will not happen (or for that matter to entitlements) anytime soon, so this breakdown is more theater than anything else.  The plan was stupid to begin with and that it failed was pretty much preordained.  Both sides know it and most of what is going on is posturing.

That does not mean that this is any less a serious issue or that real damage is not occuring.  All this shows why a lot of dead wood needs to be pruned in D.C.  We better win the Senate, House and WH to even have a chance of reversing this mess.

Senator Schumer, Whorehouse Harry Reid, Janet Incompitano, Nasty Pelousy, Barney (Fannie & Freddie are fine) Frank along with a few other Washingtonians who were hand-picked by Oblahblah should all be tried for treason and deported to a third world nation before they completely turn America into one.

No, he did it because he thought it would look good to his New York constituents.

The constituents, or the occupiers? Or both?

Democrats only care about limited subsets of the Occupiers, the ones they think can be counted on to get out the vote. In other words, the union goons and Code Pinko types. When they go, the rest will gradually fade back into the woodwork like the cockroaches they are. Schumer doesn’t need them, and I’m surprised he hasn’t spoken out against them to at least a degree. He might be worried about the results of the last special election for the Weiner prick’s seat, but if so supporting that bunch would be his worst possible move.

They could be tried for treason, but unfortunately the Russians are under no obligation to disclose the contents of the old Soviet archives.

    Schmucky is truly evil, politicized

This guy is one  sinister snake- far more dangerous than Dingy Harry ever was.

I sure wouldn’t ever underestimate him, and  if you look up ‘calculating’ in the dictionary they’ve got his picture there

So, Schumer was the culprit.   Yesterday, the lynch mob was ready to hang a former staffer of Bob Bennett’s on the conclusive evidence that a) Mike Lee was the Senator organizing the meeting and b) the former Bennett staffer is now on the Rules Committee staff.

But in the litany of Schumer’s crimes, this is well down the list.  It’s a jerk move, sure, but most of Schumer’s actions have had a wide-reaching negative effect on the country, so a junior Senator’s bruised feelings and those of his supporters probably won’t even be mentioned at his treason trial.
