A Pansy-Assed Apology: ‘You Christians Are Too Christian, and Not Gay Enough’

Posted on | April 30, 2012 | 28 Comments

Over the weekend, Dan Savage’s attack on Christianity became an online sensation — strange, how these coincidences happen — to the point that he felt obliged to issue an apology for a dishonest new defense of his hateful bigotry: Because the Bible says things Dan Savage doesn’t like, you must reject God and obey Dan Savage.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum!

Roxeanne de Luca helpfully translates Savage’s message:

“The core of anti-bullying is for me to retaliate against people who bullied me back in the 1980s by bullying kids who weren’t even alive back then, but are sort of like the people who bullied me. ‘Cuz I’m anti-bullying, dude, I perpetuate the cycle of bullying!”

People like Dan Savage never apologize. Their arrogant sense of entitlement — their privileged status as Righteous Victims — prevents them from acknowledging any capacity for error.

Externalizing blame for their unhappiness by inveighing against ideological scapegoats, their psychopathic politics requires them to believe that no wrong they commit can detract from their moral superiority to the objects of their hatred.

They hate God and love only themselves, considering Christians “a thankfully shrinking minority in this country.”

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools . . .”

UPDATE: Wow, Teresa Koch sure hates gay people, huh? (BTW, Teresa: Your daughter is not actually gay. She’s part of the alarming upsurge of pseudo-lesbianism that began on April 28, 1989, which just happens to have been the day I got married. Your daughter, like so many other attractive young women, apparently decided that if I was no longer available . . .)

He was a little faggot when he was in school, and he’s a little faggot now.

Dan Savage, an utterly execrable little man

The way the media will treat this situation is the same way they deal with racial issues – as long as you are not white, the media somehow absolves you from ever being called a racist (see Al Sharpton, Derrick Bell, etc.).  Because, how could you be – racism is only something white people can do.

In this same way, they will ask how Dan Savage could possibly be a bully – he’s a homosexual, and apparently they do not have the capacity to bully as well.

You see that, like feminists and other self-regarding egalitarians, Dan Savage is using the rhetoric of “equality” to assert his own superiority: One might describe him fairly as a Queer Supremacist, and he can scarcely restrain his maniacal contempt for “breeders.”

    Uncalled for.

Dan Savage is a savage.  I’d rather have a barbarian like Genghis Khan as a dinner guest than Dan Savage.

Yes, for the Left, “equality” is all about driving resentments.

People need to point out non-stop how Dan Savage expressed the opinion that it was all right for adult homos to pick up runaway teenage boys, with the express purpose of asking, how is this person fit to speak to high school students, or to be involved in any aspect of public education.

I don’t think that he has accepted his own homosexuality.  Maybe that’s why he’s blaming everyone else.

By the way, the Bible does not endorse slavery. Rather, it acknowledges the existence of slavery and explains how Christians of that time period dealt with the reality of slavery.

P.S. Except for that part about being a slave to Christ….which I am and will not apologize for.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!  Thanks for the link to my post, and thanks for the laugh –

I guess that “pseudo-lesbianism” in my daughter must have taken place pre-conception – she was born in 1991….. 😛

(Doesn’t explain the two who came after her, though!)

There is no point in being upset with Dan Savage.  He’s an idiot.

The outrage is that such a vile person was invited to speak at a public school.  Heads should roll.

Reason # 5892 why the government should not be involved in the education business.

Hardly, given how Savage acts like a little faggot. Emphasis on the little part.

Actually, I was meaning the emphasis on the faggot part.

This reminds me of the globledy-gook theory “taught” at universities, specifically, minorities or “oppressed” groups are not capable of prejudice or oppression themselves.  It is b/c they are oppressed by the patriarchal, white male society makes whatever they do immune from criticism.

Also, note this “theory” does not apply to women, minorities of conservative bent.  They deserve the scorn they get b/c of the their collective audacity to leave the liberal, identity-based plantation.

    April 30th, 2012 @ 2:38 pm

Oh, I don’t know for sure, but I have an idea he’s “accepted” it so many times he’s probably lost count.

  20. ThePaganTemple
    April 30th, 2012 @ 3:26 pm

That’s just part and parcel of leftist indoctrination. It’s a manufactured answer to when they are asked “what about the bigotry and racism expressed by minorities?”

He should be grateful he wasn’t born in some place like Iran.

I took it as he was a very small ma..er, whatever. he’s small anyway in stature.

    I’d agree he’s a fag too.

How is that “uncalled for”? Why don’t you look up what that disgusting freak Savage did to Rick Santorum? What’s “uncalled for” is defending that asshole Rick Savage who is a bully and a hostile jackass.

What would be hilarious is if he was out some day and some big muscular dude with a beautiful girl on his arm stopped him on the street, smacked him around, and made him fork over money for their lunch while they both laughed at and belittled him and his “manhood” until he broke down and started crying. And it was all caught on video and posted to YouTube.

“Aww, poor widdle Dan, don’t wowwee, it gets better.”

I don’t want him burned at the stake. I just want people to start bullying him, beating him up, and making him give them his lunch money while they laugh at him.
