VIDEO @PaulRyanVP: ‘Four Years Into a Presidency and It’s Incomplete?’

Interviewed Sunday on KKTV in Colorado, President Obama was asked to grade his presidency and gave himself an “incomplete.” Maybe he’s grading himself on the curve, but Paul Ryan isn’t impressed with Professor Obama’s academic rigor:

CBS News:

Republican vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan said in regard to the comment, “Four years into a presidency and an incomplete?”
Ryan complained that “[t]he president is asking people just to be patient with him” before attacking Mr. Obama for “picking winners and losers in the economy” and borrowing and spending money.
“That doesn’t work,” he told CBS News’ Charlie Rose. “So, I think the incomplete speaks for itself, and that is why I think we are going to win this and get this country on the right track because we’re offering solutions.”
Added Romney Campaign Spokesperson Amanda Henneberg: “If President Obama can’t even give himself a passing grade, why would the American people give him another four years?”

I’m reminded of Bluto in Animal House: “Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the f–king Peace Corps.”

Barack Obama would fit in just fine in the Peace Corps.

I think he meant to say ‘Incompetent’ but got the big words mixed up.

  • richard mcenroe

Be fair. It’s probably the only grade he ever received.

What do you have against the poor defenseless natives. That’s worse than siccing Sally Struthers on them.

  • Adjoran

Hey, “Incomplete” was good enough to get him into Columbia and Harvard Law and the US Senate and the White House, why grade tougher now?

    Presidentin’ bees hard, y’all.

  • JeffS

Obama, the epitome of empty suits, labels himself as “incomplete”.

Oh, the irony, it burns, it burns!

I remember when I was in high school, I once comforted myself because my grade in some elective class I hated was “incomplete”, but I “could have done better if I’d wanted to”. Leaving aside whether that was actually true or not, the fact is that I didn’t do the work, and I didn’t deserve a grade. No grade is worse than a bad grade, if you ask me. At least people who get D’s turned *something* in. I suspect the president views his own job as an elective class he doesn’t really need to master, too.

    Otis! My man!

  • JeffS

Certainly it’s the only grade we’ll ever hear about.

    Shoooo….Sho’ nuff!
